“The worst thing you can do if you want to know anything about Ukraine is to read or listen to US corporate media,” Margaret Kimberley, editor and senior columnist at Black Agenda Report, says, while answering a question about the coverage of the situation in Ukraine by the American media.
💬 "You can read Black Agenda Report, you can read other media that are called alternative, although I don't like that term. But it's terrible that you have to, on your own, look for sources of information, but you do. You're very, very much misinformed if you read The New York Times about the situation in Ukraine"

❗Experts comment on the referendums currently taking place in the liberated territories:
▪"We expect the referendum participants will vote in favor of joining Russia. I do not rule out that all this tension will end after the referendum."
🇮🇷Mehdi Khorsand, head of the Department of Economic Diplomacy of Tehran Municipality and expert on Eurasia
▪“Today the responsibility lies with the West. The EU could put pressure on Kiev to negotiate. However, the Western countries are doing the opposite, trying to derail the negotiating efforts.”
🇦🇷Marcelo Montes, political scientist
▪“We in Slovakia know who Bandera is and how our people were afraid of him in the post-war period. Returning to the past is always a great misfortune. The West does not think rationally today.”
🇸🇰Andrej Danko, chairman of the Slovak National Party
▪“The desire to hold a referendum and become part of Russia is absolutely normal and natural. Residents of these regions will have an opportunity to once again say that they no longer want to live in conditions of oppression by the Ukrainian authorities. This is their right, their choice of a historical path, and no one should interfere with them.”
🇰🇼Yusuf Mullah, crisis management expert
▪“Russia will finally correct the historical mistake that was made during the collapse of the USSR. Finally, these territories will return home. We have no doubt that Russia will achieve all the goals of the special operation.”
