At the same time, US-NATO have their intelligence services and special forces troops inside Ukraine running the war against Russia. Along with the ever-expanding NATO, these realities indicate that this war is much severer than what happened in 1962,” Bruce Gagnon, director of the Global Network Against Weapons and Nuclear Power in Space, told Sputnik.

Oliver Boyd-Barrett, a professor emeritus at Bowling Green State University in Ohio, recollected that “the Soviet Union is not Russia - the Soviet Union had a mission to spread communist philosophy, whereas a capitalist Russia in reality poses no threat to the West beyond the protection of its natural security interests," he said.

“The aggressive force here is the West, salivating for access to Russian natural resources after the putative dismemberment of the federation,” he added.

A California bakery has created a two-meter Han Solo out of bread dough with a painstaking amount of detail. His expression of agony, with his hands reaching out in desperation, is part of the display outside the One House Bakery in Bernicia, California.

The mother and daughter duo behind the creation called him “Pan Solo.” The two bakers describe themselves as science-fiction nerds, who apparently went above and beyond when it comes to this installation. 🇺🇸 Ithaca College in New York has been slammed for segregating faculty and staff by "racial affinity groups," having them meet on different days throughout the year-long course

The "Antiracism Institute" is an optional weekly event, taking place during the 2022-2023 academic year. Faculty and staff members are given the option to attend Monday sessions for those "who identify as people of color" or Thursday sessions for "faculty and staff who identify as white."
