😡 Russian sailors are hated, discriminated against and treated badly by both authorities and their colleagues around the world, the Danish trade magazine Lederne Søfart reported.

▪️ Carsten Ostenfeldt, who has a top position in the large international ship management company Anglo-Eastern, told the magazine that Russians are directly harassed during port calls, as the authorities, for instance, may spend up to six hours looking through their passports and papers.

🇬🇧 UK Home Secretary Suella Braverman’s resignation, Chief Whip Wendy Morton’s attempt to step down and a Tory MP revolt over fracking have prompted new speculation among Conservative lawmakers that under-fire Prime Minister Liz Truss could be forced out of No 10 “within weeks or even days”, according to the British news outlet.

▪️ The outlet quoted an unnamed senior backbencher as saying that “this is the beginning of the end” for Truss. According to the source, “she [the PM] will be gone by Christmas, if not before.”

▪️ The insider was echoed by former Brexit adviser David Frost, who wrote in the article for The Telegraph that the UK Prime Minister “just can’t stay in office.”

▪️Russian Forces eliminated more than 40 Ukrainian troops, as well as destroyed two Ukrainian armored combat vehicles and three pick-up trucks in the vicinity of Krasny Liman;

▪️Russian Forces eliminated more than 200 Ukrainian troops, 14 Ukrainian tanks, 16 Ukrainian armored combat vehicles and seven other vehicles in the Kherson region. In addition, two Ukrainian tanks, one infantry fighting vehicle and the UR-77 mine action system were taken as trophies and 18 Ukrainian servicemen surrendered;

▪️Russian Forces hit three Ukrainian command posts and 72 Ukrainian artillery units at their firing position in the Kharkov and Kherson regions, as well as five points of temporary deployment of the Ukrainian Forces in the DPR and in the Kherson region;

▪️Russian Forces destroyed four Ukrainian ammunition depots in the DPR, Kharkov and Zaporozhye regions. In addition, Russian Forces destroyed fuel storage facilities for Ukrainian military equipment in the Dnepropetrovsk region;

▪️Russian Forces destroyed an AN/TPQ-36 counter-battery warfare radar and ST-68UM low-altitude target detector in the DPR;

🇺🇦 🥴 🇺🇸 Davyd Arakhamia, Ukraine's negotiator at now-stalled peace talks with Russia, said that Kiev was "shocked" as the Republicans warned they would cut US aid to Ukraine in the event of an election victory.

▪️ On Tuesday, US House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy pledged that if the Republicans get the majority of seats in the lower chamber of the Congress in the midterm elections, Ukraine will not get a "blank check" for assistance given a looming recession in the United States.

💬 "We were shocked to hear these comments of Mr McCarthy, honestly," Arakhamia told the Financial Times on Wednesday.

▪️ Arakhamia noted that he met with McCarthy during a recent visit to Washington and was convinced that the US would continue to support Kiev.
