📉The popularity rating of French President Emmanuel Macron has plummeted by seven points in a month, while that of French Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne has likewise shot down by ten points, according to a survey conducted by the BVA research and consulting center.

▪️The survey data shows that only 36% of respondents now have a positive attitude toward Macron and 41% towards Born.

▪️This may be explained by the negative reaction of the majority of the French to how authorities are coping with the fuel crisis: 71% of respondents believe that the government is controlling the crisis poorly, while 32% rate its actions "very poorly".

▪️Previously, clashes between protesters and police took place in Paris, where demonstrators were rallying to demand higher wages, as well as for the retirement age to be lowered to 60 and for encroachments on the right to strike to be lifted.
