🇯🇵 Japan's former prime minister Yoshiro Mori commented on the Ukraine crisis during a political gathering in Tokyo earlier this week, saying that "Ukraine's President Zelensky [is making] a large number of Ukrainians suffer."

Mori also lashed out at Japanese news outlets, saying their “one-sided” reporting on the war in Ukraine gives him the impression they “only rely on reports from Europe and the United States".

🗣“Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is leaning one-sidedly toward the United States,” Mori said. The veteran politician believes that “the one who could play a role of helping settle the current situation would have been former prime minister Shinzo Abe”.
