US Court Rejects Trump Effort to Block DOJ From Using Classified Records in Probe - Filing
A US appeals court terminated a special master review process that former President Donald Trump requested to block federal investigators from using classified records seized from his Florida residence in an active criminal probe, a court filing revealed.
"The law is clear. We cannot write a rule that allows any subject of a search warrant to block government investigations after the execution of the warrant. Nor can we write a rule that allows only former presidents to do so. Either approach would be a radical reordering of our caselaw limiting the federal courts’ involvement in criminal investigations. And both would violate bedrock separation-of-powers limitations. Accordingly, we agree with the government that the district court improperly exercised equitable jurisdiction, and that dismissal of the entire proceeding is required," the 11th Circuit Appeals Court said in the court document.

Idaho College Murders: Investigators Backtrack on Whether Four Students Were Targeted
US police have backtracked their earlier remarks, stating now that it remains unclear whether four University of Idaho students had been targeted in a quadruple homicide in November.
The case, which has enraptured much of the US, has only prompted more questions as investigators have released little information on the murders.
Officials were alerted to the case on November 13 after students and housemates Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and fellow student Ethan Chapin were found fatally stabbed after returning from a night out.

Elon Musk said that rapper Kanye West's Twitter account will be blocked again due to another violation of the rules on incitement to violence
Earlier Kanye West was widely criticized after doubling down on anti-Semitic comments in which the musician praised Adolf Hitler during an appearance on a US program hosted by Alex Jones.
🗣 “Well, I see good things about Hitler also, I love everyone and Jewish people are not going to tell me, ‘You can love us, and you can love what we’re doing to you with the contracts, and you can love what we’re pushing with the pornography', but this guy that invented highways, invented the very microphone that I used as a musician, you can’t say out loud that this person never did anything good and I’m done with that. I’m done with the classifications. Every human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler,” said West

😳 97 of 230 transgender inmates, or about 42% of them, were sentenced to jail due to sex crimes, official Scottish figures show. 44 of them were jailed for rape and 14 forced under-age children to engage in sexual activity. Another 11 people were convicted of sexual assault and seven for possessing or making images of child abuse.
Based on statistics, it is impossible to understand whether these people are biological men or women, but six of them are held in women's prisons.
🗣 Former Scottish justice secretary Kenny MacAskill, commenting on that issue, said that "these statistics show that the fears of women’s rights campaigners are right," adding that there is a need "to consider placing such prisoners in separate facilities.”
