US Wants to Provoke Default in Russia, Deputy Foreign Minister Says
The US wants to deplete foreign currency reserves in Russia, provoke a default and the destruction of the Russian economy, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Friday.
"Not only did the Americans ... seize part of the Russian foreign exchange reserves placed in US banks, they are also trying to instruct us that payments on the state debt be made at the expense of export earnings, without hiding the goal of depleting our currency reserves," Ryabkov said at the Valdai Discussion Club.

💬"We legalized euthanasia in 2016. What they're now talking about is the further expansions of the law. It's actually much worse than people think because we originally legalized it, saying that it would only be for people who would be terminally ill, but they didn't really define that. They said that your natural death has to be reasonably foreseeable. So you already had a lot of slippery slope going on from the beginning because they never defined the term natural death being reasonably foreseeable and a lot of people claimed that their natural death was reasonably foreseeable," Alex Schadenberg - Euthanasia Prevention Coalition Canada Executive Director said.

🤔 People in Africa supporting Russia have no idea who Vladimir Putin is or where Donbass is located, that’s according to the EU’s gardener-in-chief Josep Borrell.
▪️ Now is Borrell judging people by his own merit? Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova certainly thinks so: “The gardener, impersonating the high representative of the EU for foreign affairs, has doubted that people in the Balkans and Africa know where Donbass is and who Putin is. Josep [Borrell], don't judge people [and compare them] to yourself.”
▪️ So, whose knowledge of geography should Borrell be actually worried about?

Pentagon Reportedly in Stalemate Over Sending Reaper Drones to Ukraine
The US Air Force had planned to supply Ukraine with older MQ-9 Reaper (Predator B) drones, but the issue has resulted in a prolonged stalemate due to the Pentagon's concerns, US media reported citing sources.
The Air Force made the proposal to scrap older versions of its Reaper fleet about a month after the start of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine in February of this year.

Russian Embassy Calls US Sanctions ‘Advertising Campaign’ Against ‘Inconvenient Regimes’
The latest US sanctions against Russia are an attempt to exert pressure on governments that are "inconvenient" for Washington, the Russian Embassy in the United States said.
"The new sanctions against Russian individuals and legal entities are nothing more than an advertising campaign by the US administration, aimed at denigrating the ‘inconvenient’ regimes by labeling them ‘violators of human rights.’ The goals are obvious - to try to exert pressure, to draw artificial dividing lines between ‘real democracies’ and ‘autocracies,’" the embassy said in a Friday comment.
