💬"The doctor who examined the suspect today in the late afternoon declared that the state of health of the person concerned was not compatible with the measure of police custody," the Paris prosecutor's office said, adding that the suspect "was taken to the psychiatric infirmary of the police headquarters."

The prosecutor’s office specified that the police custody measure was lifted pending the suspect’s appearance before the judge, "when his state of health allows it."

Scientists believe that the bones belong to a victim of ritual sacrifice practiced over 5,000 years ago.

Archaeologists have discovered an ancient body in Egedal Municipality, near Copenhagen, Denmark.

Researchers at ROMU, an organization representing 10 museums in Denmark, were excavating at the site of a planned housing development when one of them noticed a femur sticking out of the mud. After that they were able to retrieve nearly all the bones from both legs, a pelvis, and a jaw.

❗️Around 60 percent of the US population has already faced some sort of winter weather advisory or warning as a result of the brutal storm, which is expected to persist in the coming days.

US Winter Storm Causes Biggest Drop in Country's Gas Production in 10 Years, Reports Suggest

Natural gas production in the United States experienced its biggest one-day drop in over a decade on December 23 due to a heavy snowstorm across the country, US media reported.

The condition of Pele, the 82-year-old soccer star, who has been in the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein in Sao Paulo since November 29, has reportedly worsened.

According to news agencies, last week doctors said that Pele's cancer had progressed, adding that the three-time World Cup winner was under "increased scrutiny" for "kidney and heart dysfunction." No other hospital statements have been released since.

A Brazilian newspaper reported that Pele's chemotherapy was not working and that doctors had decided to transfer him to palliative care. The family of the football icon, however, denied this report.

Turkey Accuses France of Backing PKK as Kurds 'Burning Streets of Paris'

Scores of Kurdish activists clashed with police in Paris on Saturday as they protested the killing of three Kurds in a shooting spree in the heart of the French capital.

The Turkish president's spokesman Ibrahim Kalin has accused France of backing the Kurdistan Workers' Party* (PKK) in Syria, an organization which he said is now setting Parisian streets on fire.

"This is PKK in France. The same terrorist organization you support in Syria," Kalin tweeted, referring to French authorities.

*The Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) is outlawed in Turkey.
