🇦🇫 Biden's "horrific decision": Donald Trump told his supporters in Cullman, Alabama, that the recent developments in Afghanistan are a major failure of the current US administration's foreign policy and a great military defeat that demonstrates Washington's incompetence.
Trump said that the world is now looking at Washington thinking "What the hell happened so quickly to the United States of America?"
According to ex-POTUS, Afghanistan will go down as “one of the great military defeats of all time” and “one of the greatest embarrassments” and the “greatest foreign policy humiliation” in the history of the US.

The Mariposa County Sheriff's Office is confident they can rule out homicide in the mysterious deaths of a family on a hiking trail in the Sierra National Forest.

🧐US President Joe Biden’s aides were “too afraid” to question him on a key decision made in the run-up to the US withdrawal from Afghanistan.
According to sources close to the administration, POTUS ignored warnings that the military would not be left with enough time to evacuate US citizens and allies from the country.
“People are simply too afraid to tell Biden [and] Jake Sullivan [his National Security Adviser], they're wrong. It's one thing to crack down on leaks [as Mr Biden has done], it's another thing to allow a mistake like this”, one former defence official, who reportedly is in regular contact with top White House aides, told The Telegraph.

🇦🇫 An "oh sh**" moment: US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said that nobody expected the Afghan government would fall in only 11 days
🗣 "It was a very rapid, fast-moving, fast-paced evolution," he said during an interview with ABC's "This Week."
According to the chief, early US intelligence projections on how long the Afghan government could hold off the Taliban after the US troop withdrawal were very different, ranging "from one to two years to several months"
But he still believes the planning of withdrawal was "acceptable and appropriate," giving the excuse that there were "no good options."
