‘Pretty simple’ way to stop Guatemalan migrants from entering US: a guide by Tucker Carlson
Fox News host Tucker Carlson said he knows how to solve the issue of Guatemalan migrants entering the US.
He argued that just “one phone call” could be enough.
“So if you're going to deal with the governor of Guatemala, wouldn't it be pretty simple?” Carlson argued. It's worthy to note that Guatemala is led by a president, not a governor.
“You say ‘Look, either you stop off-loading your poor people onto our taxpayers or we're shutting down your foreign aid, tomorrow. Like you've got 24 hours’. Why is that complicated?” he went on.
How does this idea sound to you? 🧐

Attorneys for the family of Andrew Brown Jr. said that autopsy results showed that North Carolina sheriff's deputies shot the African-American man, aged 42, in the back of the head as they were serving a warrant last week.
Earlier, they said that Brown Jr's family had been shown 20 seconds of body-camera video that appeared to show him with his hands on the steering wheel of his car before being shot down.
After watching this, Brown's son exclaimed that the shooting in Elizabeth City had been an execution.
"My dad got executed just by trying to save his own life," Khalil Ferebee told reporters during a Monday press conference.
The family admitted that Brown did try to drive away, but they pointed out that he had been targeted even before he attempted his escape.

✍️ Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom, who violated COVID restrictions by meeting with lobbyists at a private party, could be removed from office if voters vote against keeping him as governor.
Under California state law, residents have the right to recall an elected governor if they find his performance in office unsatisfactory. If a majority of people vote to expel Newsom, the new candidate with the most votes will replace him for the remainder of his term, which ends in 2023. If not, Newsom keeps his post.

👊 Not everyone is ready to support the political career of a family member. That's certainly the case with Caitlyn Jenner, whose family seems disappointed with her decision to run for governor of California.
The sons of the 71-year-old socialite and TV personality, Burt, Brandon and Brody Jenner, ostensibly “don't feel she's qualified for the position”. They are reportedly “upset she never took the family’s feelings into consideration”, and had decided for herself long before she asked her loved ones.
Another part of the same extended family – the Kardashians – are also not happy with Caitlyn's political aspirations, as Kim, the daughter of Caitlyn's ex-wife Kris, has already made it clear that they have very different views.

Stocks tumbled last week, following the emergence of a report suggesting US President Joe Biden would set forth a new capital gains hike targeting wealthier US taxpayers. It would be the highest tax rate on investment gains since the 1920s. Republicans, and even some Democrats, have argued that such a move is too radical, and could have negative ramifications on the US economy
