The US Border Patrol and local authorities were able to pull off a great accomplishment evacuating more than 15,000 migrants, mostly Haitians, from under the Del Rio international bridge over the last eight days, Val Verde County Sheriff Joe Martinez told Sputnik.
On President Joe Biden's criticism of alleged mistreatment of migrants, the sheriff said it was "sad that one incident is going to distract from all the hard work."
“If Biden would come down here he would see the good hard work that was being done by all the agents on the ground."

“Things happen”: Donald Trump has revealed that a "bad call" from his physician would prevent a 2024 election run.
🗣 "Well, I don't — I guess a bad call from a doctor or something, right?" Trump said on ‘The Water Cooler’ podcast. "Things happen. Through God, they happen. But I feel so good."
However, that's not to say ex-POTUS isn't healthy enough to take another jab at the presidency, as his last physical exams reportedly indicated that he was mostly "healthy," and that he had managed to lower his cholesterol levels.
