EU Court of Justice beefs up security in run-up to Roman Abramovich’s case hearing

The Court of Justice of the European Union has stepped up security measures for the hearing of Russian businessman Roman Abramovich’s appeal to fight the EU’s sanctions against him. The court received information about a group of Ukrainians plotting to protest in court against the tycoon and Russia, Abramovich’s attorneys told Sputnik.

On March 15, 2022, the EU Council imposed personal sanctions against a number of Russian businessmen, including Abramovich.

🇨🇳 China launches world's first methane-powered rocket

China successfully launched the world's first methane-powered space rocket, named Zhuque-2, from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on Wednesday morning at 9 am local time (01:00 GMT).

The methane-fuelled engine, renowned for its high performance and cost-effectiveness, is considered a pioneering innovation in rocket science. State media reported that both rockets will enter lunar orbit and, following a successful docking, Chinese astronauts will board the lunar lander to descend to the surface of the moon.
