Relations between the two countries have transcended the model of military-political alliances of the Cold War and formed a model of relations between major powers," Wang told reporters, adding that they "fundamentally differ from [relations among] the NATO countries involved in the creation of narrow groups and bloc confrontation."

🇨🇳 China launches world's first methane-powered rocket

China successfully launched the world's first methane-powered space rocket, named Zhuque-2, from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on Wednesday morning at 9 am local time (01:00 GMT).

The methane-fuelled engine, renowned for its high performance and cost-effectiveness, is considered a pioneering innovation in rocket science. State media reported that both rockets will enter lunar orbit and, following a successful docking, Chinese astronauts will board the lunar lander to descend to the surface of the moon.

The Russian Armed Forces are completing the acceptance of weapons and equipment from the Wagner group

More than 2,000 weapons were transferred, including tanks, MLRS, Pantsir air defense systems, and others. 2,500 tons of ammunition and 20,000 small arms were likewise accepted. Several dozen pieces of equipment were not used in combat.

Equipment and weapons were sent to the rear areas for maintenance and preparation for further use.

🇺🇳 UN Secretary-General António Guterres sent a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday with a proposal aimed at extending the Grain Deal, Stéphane Dujarric, spokesman for the UN chief, said at a briefing.

The goal of Guterres' proposal is to remove obstacles to the operations of the Russian bank Rosselkhozbank and ensure the further work of the Black Sea initiative. He also put forward a proposal to harmonize both parts of the deal, he said.

According to Dujarric, the UN knows that Russia received the letter and is studying it. At the same time, he pointed out that Guterres is ready to have contact with Russia.
