💬 "...Prime Minister Trudeau, who yesterday talked out of all the sides of his mouth about what happened. He said, ‘It was a mistake. It was an accident. You should forgive us.’ At one point, one of my colleagues told me, he said it was Russian disinformation – literally said that. He said everything except ‘Listen, this man is a monster. If what people are saying about this man is true, he's a monster. He should have never been allowed into Canada. We are disgraced that this person is in Canada and that people like him are in Canada. And we are going to take every step. We are going to introduce new legislation. We are going to the courts. We are going to fight, to vomit these people out of Canada.’ But that's not what he said. He made excuses," Steven Rambam, private investigator and Nazi hunter about Canadian PM Trudeau's excuses for honoring SS Nazi soldier in the country's parliament.

☢️ More nuclear states would have a 'domino effect,' triggering a 'different level of arms race'

Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has warned that if Iran were to acquire a nuclear weapon, his kingdom would seek to do the same, prompting Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to point out that Tehran has repeatedly said it does not have such plans. Lavrov added that, "No one wants more nuclear countries to emerge in the world.”

If Saudi Arabia were ever to become "nuclear-armed," it would set off a chain reaction that would augur badly for the region, Mehran Kamrava, professor of government at Georgetown University Qatar, told Sputnik.

🇨🇦 Trudeau expressed his apologies to Zelensky and the Ukrainian delegation, saying that it was a mistake and an accident that violated "the memory of those who suffered grievously at the hands of the Nazi regime." But was it really an accident?

He decided not to mention the glorification of Nazi war criminals in Ukraine, which took place during World War II and is taking place today. Did the Canadian government really not know about Ukraine and Yaroslav Hunka's close connection with Nazism when naming scholarships in his honor?

🇦🇲🇺🇸 Armenia's Pashinyan 'sold'out' Nagorno-Karabakh to 'US interests'

Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan "has been doing the dirty work for the US, as [Volodymyr] Zelensky is doing in Ukraine. It is all geopolitics,” Professor Alfred de Zayas, former UN independent expert on international order, told Sputnik.

The “end of Nagorno-Karabakh” is much more than specifically a foreign policy failure of Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Alexander Konkov, associate professor at the Department of Political Analysis at Lomonosov Moscow State University, agreed. It is a testimony to the “collapse of the general model of pro-Western policy in the Caucasus, at minimum.”

🇨🇦🇷🇺 The University of Alberta has announced about the closure of the research endowment fund bearing the name of Ukrainian Nazi veteran Yaroslav Hunka soon after the public address by the Russian Embassy in Canada, Russian Ambassador to Ottawa Oleg Stepanov told Sputnik.

The Russian Embassy in Canada will send a note to the country's Foreign Ministry on legal steps regarding SS veteran Hunka and is awaiting Ottawa's reaction, said Stepanov, adding that Russia has no illusions about the prospects for the extradition of Hunka, as Canada will certainly drag out the process until his death.

There is no way Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was unaware of 98-year-old Yaroslav Hunka's Nazi criminal background when he received a standing ovation in the Canadian legislature, Nazi hunter Steven Rambam told Sputnik.

Rambam, that called out Trudeau's hypocrisy, is a private investigator and Nazi hunter based in New York, publicly known for his pro bono activities, which have included the location and investigation of nearly 200 Nazi collaborators and war criminals in the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia.

The Pentagon has increasingly turned to the private sector for cutting-edge technology solutions for the US military, creating opportunities for companies like SpaceX, led by Elon Musk, to secure lucrative contracts, according to an expert.

SpaceX has recently secured its first contract with the US military to provide satellite communications through the Starshield system, an adapted version of the Starlink internet network. However, Musk raised concerns within the Pentagon by declining to allow Starlink's use by the Ukrainian military for operations in Crimea.

SpaceX, officially known as Space Exploration Technologies Corp., was awarded a one-year, $70 million contract by the US Space Force (USSF) to develop Starshield, as confirmed by the company. This contract is part of a competition involving 18 firms vying for approximately $900 million in contracts under the USSF's "Proliferated Low Earth Orbit" program over the next five years.

📊 In a recent poll of US voters conducted by NewsNation/Decision Desk HQ, more than half of the respondents expressed significant concerns about the cognitive health of President Joe Biden, who is presumed to be the Democratic Party's nominee for the 2024 presidential elections.

The poll primarily focused on the Republican Party's presidential primary race but included questions about President Biden's cognitive health. One question asked voters about their level of concern regarding Biden's cognitive health affecting his ability to effectively serve another presidential term.

The poll results showed that 52.21% of respondents were "very concerned" about Biden's cognitive health, while an additional 22.1% were "somewhat concerned." A smaller percentage, 12.51%, expressed being "a little concerned," and 13.19% stated that they did not care at all about Biden's cognitive health. These findings reflect widespread unease among voters regarding President Biden's cognitive capabilities.

🇺🇸 US Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) has remained intransigent in the face of growing calls for him to step down from office after being indicted on federal bribery charges.

“He will not resign,” US Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) told reporters on Thursday, following a private lunch between Menendez and Senate Democrats. The New Jersey senator reportedly didn’t say if he intended to seek reelection in 2024.

“I think what we all really have to realize is [that] the rule of law is for all of us. No matter what you may think, no matter what I may think or any of us may think,” Manchin said. “He is going to vigorously defend himself.”

Several other Democratic lawmakers who spoke with US media after the meeting indicated they weren’t swayed by Menendez’s 15-minute speech about his situation, and suggested the majority of people in the room felt the same way.
