🇩🇪 During a pro-Palestinian rally in Berlin that was dispersed on Sunday, 24 police officers were injured, and 127 demonstrators were detained, police said.

About 500 cops broke up an uncoordinated pro-Palestinian demonstration of about a thousand people in downtown Berlin on Sunday evening.

Reports clarified that during the clashes, protesters threw bottles and fireworks towards the police.

Previously, large pro-Palestinian demonstrations were banned in Berlin. Deputy Head of the German Interior Ministry’s Press Relations Division Dr. Mehmet Ata cautioned that attempts to organize rallies in support of the Palestinian militant group Hamas would be suppressed, and those without German citizenship joining such demonstrations would face deportation.
