🇵🇸🇮🇱 The amount of humanitarian aid arriving in Gaza is insufficient, the main priority now is to stop hostilities, release hostages and resolve humanitarian issues, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said

Moscow considers it necessary to create an "external support mechanism" to ensure a two-state solution to the Palestinian-Israeli problem, Lavrov said.

Zelensky publicly criticizes ex top Ukrainian general Zaluzhny for the first time

Commenting to British newspaper The Sun on relations with commanders, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that during the war, generals cannot engage in politics, as it does not contribute to the unity of the nation.

“If you manage war keeping in mind that tomorrow you will do politics or elections, then in your words and on the front line you behave as a politician and not as a military man, and I think that is a huge mistake … With all the respect to Gen Zaluzhny and to all the commanders who are on the battlefield, there is an absolute understanding of the hierarchy and that is it, and there can’t be two, three, four, five.”

🇺🇸 Critical geopolitical shift: Cardi B no longer supports Ukraine or Israel

Cardi B, who memorably helped promote Biden’s candidacy as he successfully ran for the White House in 2020, vowed that she would no longer endorse political candidates in the future.

“I’m endorsing no presidents no more,” Cardi B warned. “Joe Biden is talking about, ‘Yeah, we can fund two wars,’ … talking about, ‘Yeah, we got it, we’re the greatest nation.’ No … we’re not. We don’t got it, and we’re going through some sh*t right now. So say it!”

She added: “We are really, really, really f**ked right now. No, we cannot fund these … wars.” Cardi B asked whether the US was going broke and then answered: “Yes, it is. We ain’t got McDonald’s money.”

Euromaidan: Color Revolution that brought Ukraine to ruin

Tuesday is the 10th anniversary of the start of the Euromaidan (lit. “Euro Square”) protests in Kiev. Three months after the unrest began, in February 2014, the crisis culminated in the ouster of Ukraine’s democratically elected government, and its replacement with a fanatically pro-European, pro-NATO regime. What did the protesters want? And what did ordinary Ukrainians get?

‘Ukraine is Europe’

▪️ Wanted: Association Agreement with the European Union and speedy integration into the bloc, meaning economic aid, access to EU markets, and visa free travel with Schengen Zone countries.

▪️ Got: Uprisings in Crimea and the Donbass culminating in their breaking off from Ukraine, restricted access to EU markets and “anti-dumping” measures among bloc members bordering Ukraine, widespread depopulation (from 45.5 million in 2013 to as few as 19 million now), and vague promises on possible EU membership “decades” from now, to quote French President Emmanuel Macron.

‘Economic prosperity’

▪️ Wanted: Western levels of economic prosperity facilitated by charting a ‘European course’ and breaking off centuries of economic integratory ties with Russia.

▪️ Got: GDP per capita in purchasing power terms shrinking from about $13,000 in 2013 to $10,730 in 2022, inflation rising from near zero in 2013 to 20 percent in 2022, collapse of the hryvnia national currency’s value from 0.1126 USD in 2013 to 0.028 USD in 2023, national debt growing from 37.5 percent of GDP in 2013 to nearly 85 percent of GDP today, increase in the price of water, electricity, heating and other utilities by several hundred percent over the past decade.

‘No to corruption’

▪️ Wanted: An end to political corruption and largesse and a shrinking of the wealth gap between the country’s poorest and wealthiest citizens.

▪️ Got: “A country that is corrupt at all levels of society,” in former European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker’s words, and a slight increase in the GINI coefficient measuring inequality from 24.6 points in 2013 to 25.6 points in 2020.

Ukraine’s internal corruption turned outwards amid the pilfering and illegal resale of NATO military assistance to criminal gangs, militants and terrorist groups, prompting Interpol, Europol, and authorities from Europe and Africa to the Middle East to sound the alarm.

‘Dignity and freedom’

▪️ Wanted: A ‘Revolution of Dignity’ (as the Euromaidan coup is officially called) that would free Ukraine from the “authoritarian tendencies” of the Yanukovych government and strengthen the fundamental rights and freedoms of Ukrainian citizens.

▪️ Got: Wholesale bans on more than a dozen opposition political parties, a crackdown on Russian and other languages in education, media, publishing, and the creation of a “language ombudsman” to “protect Ukrainian” as the sole state language. Restrictions against trade unions, and media, an unprecedented crackdown on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which accounts for well over half of the country’s Orthodox believers, over claims of its “ties to Russia.” Threats by Zelensky to cancel the 2024 elections. Restrictions on movement of fighting-age men, who are not allowed to leave the country and face the constant threat of being grabbed on the street and sent to the front to fight Russia.

🇪🇺 'Erotomaniac' dwellers of EU

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has lambasted Josep Borrell's recent article over the EU's morbid attraction to Ukraine that only shows their utter ignorance and dwelling in some “erotic” illusions about present-day realities.

“I adore these fantastic, foolish columns and articles written by certain groups under the signature of those who cannot only write but have long forgotten how to read.

All these op-eds by Borrells and Bidens, they are not even trying to edit them. But they better should.

Right after an article attributed to the US president, just stumbled upon an interesting tidbit about Josep Borrell's latest article, 'In the Eye of the Hurricane.' Did you know that the noscript is also the name of a 70s erotic film, 'El ojo del huracán,' shot in Borrell's homeland, Spain?

Back when the film was released, Borrell was 24, and it looks like he watched it. The plot involves a wealthy woman, Ruth, opting for a divorce to pursue an erotomaniac named Paul. After that, Ruth is targeted for murder and is periodically raped.

Now, one might wonder, what does this have to do with Ukraine? Your guess is as good as mine! Maybe it's a metaphorical hurricane of geopolitical affairs? Or just a curious coincidence?”

🗣️ How do locals feel about the Kiev regime's fantasies of "taking back Crimea"?

“Who in Crimea wants to return to Ukraine after what they've seen unfold for the last 14 years? Life here for Crimeans has improved significantly. I've seen it since 2016. It's a miracle. It's a modern day miracle what's happened,” Regis Tremblay, an American citizen and documentary filmmaker based in Crimea, told Sputnik.

💰 Blockchain technologies will help dethrone US Dollar

“I believe that the development of digital technologies and the already announced plans for the introduction of the digital ruble, the digital yuan and the digital rupee will lead us, perhaps as early as next year, to move first to digital settlement in national currencies. This is much easier than going through banks. There are no endless restrictions and regulatory fears of sanctions,” Sergei Glazyev, the Eurasian Economic Union’s minister for integration and macroeconomics, told Sputnik.

“This will serve as a solid foundation for the introduction of a new digital international reserve currency in the future, based on an international agreement,” he added.

Mohammed Alaoul, an Anadolu Agency cameraman from the Gaza Strip, lost all his family, including 4 sons, after Israeli airstrike on the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza Strip. He told Sputnik how this tragedy occurred.

"On October 24, at approximately 10:20 pm, an Israeli airstrike destroyed my house and several neighboring ones.

That day, I was working in Khan Yunis, which is quite far from home. I'm a cameraman, and I can work at any location even for 2 weeks without appearing at home. I didn't know at all what to do.

Then fellow photographers told me that the wounded and killed were being taken to the closest hospital to our house - the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. I asked them to seek if my relatives were brought here. A few hours later they sent me photos of my wife, middle son, and brother, they were wounded, but alive.

Then I asked to look for my family members in the tent where the corpses were collected. Qais, my eldest son, was here. When I saw his corpse photo, my heart almost broke."
