🤨 Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez confused a number of facts about fossil fuels in a video to her followers explaining why pipelines are bad for the country.

The congresswoman mistakenly asserted that the Keystone XL and Line 3 pipelines were proposed to increase U.S. natural gas exports in the video she posted on her Instagram account Saturday.

The two pipelines would transport crude oil, not natural gas, from Canada into the U.S. as an import, according to their operators.
After a successful test of an anti-satellite missile (ASAT) on Monday, Russia has been bombarded with accusations of recklessness and of creating new dangers for humans and equipment in space. 🤬 Republican Senator Ted Cruz of Texas grilled Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Tuesday about children being held in "Biden cages" at the US-Mexico border.

“How many children have been in the Biden cages in calendar year 2021?” Cruz asked the DHS chief during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.

Cruz displayed a photograph of kids jammed into pens taken at Donna earlier this year in the spring. He said that in the photo, children were seen "sleeping on floors, crashed in upon each other. When I took this photograph, the rate of COVID-19 positivity was over 10 percent."

🙅‍♂️ A New Hampshire high school student is suing his school district for reportedly suspending him from playing football after he said there are “only two genders.” His lawsuit also aims to prohibit the school from enforcing a policy related to gender-nonconforming students.

The Exeter High School freshman claims he received a one-game suspension from the school’s football team after he wrote text messages to another student off school grounds that he believes just two genders exist: male and female.

The lawsuit, filed Nov. 4 by the Christian organization Cornerstone Action, also alleges that the student’s First Amendment rights were violated by the school’s policy on gender identity and pronouns, which says students have the right to be addressed by the name and pronoun of their choice.

📹: Judge Schroeder on why he banned use of the word “victim” in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial:

“How would you like to be put on trial for a crime, and the judge introduced the case to the jury by introducing you as the ‘defendant' and the person who is accusing you as the ‘victim’?”

The judge pointed out that it's up to the jury to decide “whether there was a crime committed.”

🐻 California bears are known for their love of breaking into human homes and messing everything up inside. This time, a bear decided to go into a 7-eleven convenience store.

A man made a video of the bear opening the front door of the store and walking straight inside. Although the animal appeared calm and mainly just curious, it also did not respond to the voice of the employee.

Well, at least it used the sanitizer!
