🚨 A Border Patrol official had his tweet on the capture of a ‘potential terrorist’ deleted
The post saying a Saudi Arabian migrant with alleged terror ties was apprehended at the southern border vanished, with the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) saying that it was because it contained "law enforcement sensitive information" and violated protocols.
It is not clear what information had been deemed law enforcement sensitive. The move came after the Saudi Embassy said in a statement that "[b]ased on the engagement with the relevant U.S authorities on this matter, the Embassy confirms that the individual mentioned here is not a Saudi citizen."

🖋 House Jan. 6 committee to issue an interim report in summer of 2022
The panel, made up of seven Democrats and two Republicans, has interviewed more than 300 witnesses, obtained more than 35,000 pages of records, and announced more than 50 subpoenas.
The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol is set to release an interim report on its findings by the summer of next year. The actions signal further investigative measures into allies of former President Trump and his administration as the 2022 midterm elections rapidly approach.
In addition, the committee is weighing whether to propose legislative measures to "help prevent valid election results from being overturned in the future."
Former national security adviser Michael Flynn, who the committee subpoenaed in November, filed a lawsuit last week seeking a temporary restraining order and a preliminary injunction against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the Jan. 6 House committee

🇮🇶🇺🇸The 2006 trial of Saddam Hussein on charges of crimes against humanity, ending with his execution, was staged, and his defense was threatened by the Iraqi government and the United States, whose advisers were instructing the judges behind closed doors, Hussein's lawyers told Sputnik.
The first chief judge in Saddam's trial, Rizgar Mohammed Amin, who had to step down due to government interference, confirmed to Sputnik that there was outside pressure during the trial, mostly from the Iraqi side. Former US ambassador to Iraq Robert S. Ford also noted that the trial was flawed, even if there was enough incriminating evidence against Hussein.

🦠 Who thinks that the pandemic is a child's play for him? New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, a Democrat, went on Christmas break in Costa Rica despite the State Department warning travelers to refrain from traveling to covid zones.
Murphy has been criticized several times for his actions during the pandemic. In August, Republicans, including his predecessor, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, blew him up for giving "the wrong message" after flying to Italy on a 10-day vacation.
🧐 He probably did lots of work so that he could have a rest...

🇺🇸American actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and journalist Maria Shriver have divorced 10 years after their breakup, TMZ reports.
Schwarzenegger and Shriver, who have four kids together, announced their split back in 2011, but reportedly didn’t hurry to formalize their divorce for lack of motivation - the couple stayed cordial with each other - and a very complicated $400 million property settlement agreement.

The Unselect Committee of Radical Left Democrats, and two failed Republicans, has just dropped a large portion of their request for my records and documents—a very big story even though the New York Times refused to put it on the front page. The reason that they dropped the records request is that they don’t want this horror show to happen to Biden and Hunter in three years. This also changes the entire complexion of their request, not that there are any documents that would be incriminating or a problem for me—but the Witch Hunt continues!

In order to provide coverage for New Year’s celebrations in Times Square and for precincts throughout the city, the NYPD has ordered all uniformed members of the service to report for duty due to lack of staff. About 1,300 officers have tested positive for the coronavirus, and 6,000 officers called out sick this week. That is the 16% of the force.
New Year’s Eve celebrations will be scaled back again this year in light of the spike of coronavirus cases. The ball drop event will host about 15,000 people, far below the roughly 58,000 people who typically attend.
