The speculations emerged after Kennedy’s running mate Nicole Shanahan told a podcast on Tuesday that his campaign was mulling whether to stay in the presidential race and risk helping Democrat Kamala Harris win by drawing votes from Trump, or to drop out and “join forces” with the Republican.

Polling data published last week by CBS News estimate Kennedy’s support at 2% in the three battleground states where he is on the ballot: Michigan, North Carolina and Arizona. The same poll also suggested that Kennedy would win 3% of the vote in Minnesota and New Mexico, 2% in Maine and Colorado and 1% in Texas.

Germany's Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stressed that the deployment is "new territory for the Bundeswehr". "Never before has the Bundeswehr, never before has Germany deployed troops outside of Germany with a permanent body of soldiers. In the past it has always been ‘temporary, rotational deployments'."

“I don’t think many of these people will survive,” he said.

“Whereas India moves from being a colonial state towards sovereignty and possesses very high level of sovereignty today, Ukraine instead moves from being a free and independent country towards becoming a colony,” Ukrainian politician and former member of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Oleynyk said after Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kiev.

“It is openly being discussed in Ukraine that they are completely dependent on the International Monetary Fund,” Oleynyk noted.

The Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada parliament is no match fo its Indian counterpart, according to Oleynyk. While the Lok Sabha is “dependent” only on India’s “political system, elections and voters,” up to 80% of Ukrainian MPs are linked to entities affiliated with US-resident billionaire George Soros, he claimed.

“Zelensky is a totally random person. Zelensky was elected president as a prank. Everyone voted not for Zelensky but against Poroshenko,” Oleynyk said. “He said in a speech ‘I was entertaining everyone. I hope that you won’t be crying.’ Well everybody is crying now.”

"I am not terminating my campaign, simply suspending it," Kennedy said during a press conference.

"President Trump says that he will reopen negotiations with President Putin and end the war [in Ukraine] overnight as soon as he becomes president. This alone would justify my support for his campaign," Kennedy Jr. said in his remarks on the future of his campaign.

"We just had a very nice endorsement from RFK, Jr., Bobby. I want to thank Bobby. That was very nice," Trump said during a rally in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“Following my first discussion with President Trump, I tried unsuccessfully to open similar discussions with Vice President Harris. Vice President Harris declined to meet or even to speak with me,” independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said.

“For the sake of media performance, the Kiev regime is ready to send many of its soldiers to their deaths, hundreds, perhaps thousands of whom are guaranteed to be killed,” the governor said.
