⚡️ One male hostage released from Colleyville synagogue uninjured, will be with his family as soon as possible, police say
The son of former mayor Rudy Giuliani, Andrew Giuliani could have been a lifesaving hero, but instead he became a meme hero.

🌺 As he was on his way to meet a friend, Giuliani unwittingly became a witness to an altercation between a man and a woman. When he tried to step in as a mediator, the politician received a flower pot in the face, which allegedly was destined for the lady.

🗣 “Thankfully it was a plastic pot and not a clay pot. The soil mostly hit me. But I wasn’t expecting it. It was a little bit of a shock,” Giuliani said.

⚡️ Stoltenberg says NATO will not agree to keep military within pre-1997 borders
An angry Salt Lake City Tribune editorial board implored the Utah government to use the National Guard to prevent unvaccinated citizens from going anywhere.

🖊 "Were Utah a truly civilized place, the governor’s next move would be to find a way to mandate the kind of mass vaccination campaign we should have launched a year ago, going as far as to deploy the National Guard to ensure that people without proof of vaccination would not be allowed, well, anywhere," the editorial board wrote.

😒 It seems the next step could be simply expelling all the unvaccinated from the state

The University of Michigan fired its president for his years-long affair with a university employee and for "using official University of Michigan business as a means to pursue and carry out a personal relationship with a subordinate.”

🗣 “After an investigation, we learned that Dr. Schlissel, over a period of years, used his University email account to communicate with that subordinate in a manner inconsistent with the dignity and reputation of the University,” the board said Saturday night announcing the removal of the president.

A bonus to this story is that Dr. Schlissel has a wife and 4 children

On January 8, Canada's parliament passed legislation to ban so-called conversion therapy for members of the LGBT community in the country.

🖋 Under the new law, anyone who chooses to subject a member of the LGBT community to conversion therapy, regardless of that person's consent or age, could face up to five years in prison.

Despite the new law, thousands of clergy in North America devoted their Sunday sermons to affirming biblical sexual morality in response to it.

Probably these clergymen will soon have to tear out a couple of pages from the Bible
