Dmitry Peskov refuted the US president's claim that Russia only helped the US to win in the Second World War, as it was the USSR that paid the greatest price in the fight against fascism.

At the same time, Peskov recalled that the US's aid during World War II was a business, they received payments for lend-lease trade, which ended only under Putin.

📹 NATO hides troop transfers under civilian flight cover – Ukrainian PoW

“We crossed the border, and an hour later we were at the airport—if I'm not mistaken, Rzeszow [Polish airport], where we were waiting to board. It was a British Armed Forces military flight disguised as a civilian [flight]. We flew to Britain, near London, and there we were at the hub — some kind of logistics center of the British Armed Forces,” captured Ukrainian border guard Alexander Bychko tells Sputnik.

Upon arrival, Ukrainian soldiers were issued clothing, helmets, and body armor before being sent to the Warcop Training Area, he notes.
