❗️Russian troops liberated the town of Dzerzhinsk in the Donetsk People's Republic, the Russian Defense Ministry said. 📌Subscribe to @SputnikInt
🔍 Why Russia’s liberation of Dzerzhinsk (Toretsk) is a terrible blow to Ukraine

▪️Dzerzhinsk served as key part of the Ukrainian defenses in the Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) and Slavyansk-Kramatorsk urban areas.

▪️Ever since Dzerzhinsk’s capture by the Kiev regime forces in 2014, the deployed troops kept launching artillery and drone strikes against the neighboring city of Gorlovka, which is now safe from these attacks.

▪️Ukrainian defensive positions in Dzerzhinsk were shielding supply routes vital to Kiev’s forces.

▪️The fall of Dzerzhinsk opens the way for Russian forces to advance on the city of Konstantinovka to the northwest, which serves as an important logistical hub for the Ukrainian troops and which helps supply the Ukrainian garrison in Chasov Yar.

▪️With Dzerzhinsk liberated, this Ukrainian supply artery is no longer safe from Russian attacks, which in turn brings closer the liberation of Konstantinovka and Chasov Yar.

🇷🇺🇫🇷 France could re-examine Russian journalists' accreditation in the country, its Foreign Ministry has said.

Earlier, Russian FM spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the accreditation of Le Monde correspondent Benjamin Quénelle in Russia was not extended as a response to Paris' refusal to issue a visa to a Komsomolskaya Pravda journalist.

She also added that Quénelle would be accredited in Russia if the French side resolved its visa issuance issues.

🔎 How did Biden's task force target Russian assets?

US Attorney General Pam Bondi has disbanded the Justice Department’s Task Force KleptoCapture. Let’s delve into the matter.

🎯 What was the task force’s goal?

▪️The effort was launched in 2022 in response to Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine.

▪️The program was designed to strain the finances of wealthy Russian entrepreneurs by enforcing sanctions and export controls against them.

▪️The task force directly targeted Russian assets and was part of the West’s push to freeze Russia out of global markets.

🥶 How much was frozen?

Over the past few years, KleptoCapture has restrained and frozen more than $1 billion in assets belonging to Russian business leaders over alleged money laundering, regarding:

▪️Two aircraft worth over $400 million owned by Roman Abramovich

▪️A $300 million mega-yacht owned by Suleiman Kerimov

▪️A $90 million luxury yacht owned by Viktor Vekselberg

▪️A $90 million Airbus A319-100 owned by Andrei Skoch

▪️Ten properties with a combined value of over $100 million linked to unspecified Russian businessmen, including luxury properties in Beverly Hills, New York, Washington DC and Florida

▪️A $45 million Boeing 737-7EM aircraft owned by the Russian energy company LUKOIL

🇷🇺 What is Moscow’s stance?

The Kremlin has repeatedly stressed that any attempt by the West to use frozen Russian assets would violate international law and will trigger a legal response. Finance Minister Anton Siluanov didn’t rule out that Russia will use frozen assets of Western investors in a tit-for-tat move.

President Vladimir Putin dubbed the West’s asset seizure an “unseemly business,” and stressed that “stealing other people’s assets has never brought anyone good.”

🔎 USAID: US tax dollars at work… for terrorists?

Lack of oversight in USAID spending has led to some questionable investments - including funding groups the US itself labels as terrorists. Here’s where money went:

▪️$15 million worth of condoms went to the Taliban*. Congressman Brian Mast exposed this bizarre expenditure.

▪️At least $9 million in “humanitarian aid” meant for displaced Syrians ended up in the hands of an al-Qaeda**-linked group. The mastermind behind the diverted funds, Mahmoud Al Hafyan, ran a Syrian NGO that received $122 million from USAID between 2015 and 2018.

▪️USAID allegedly funneled $63 million to al-Qaeda-affiliated groups in Idlib over two years (contracts end in June this year), according to X influencer Syrian Girl.

▪️Over $12 billion in USAID funds flowed into Syria between 2011 and 2020, much of it reportedly propping up jihadist factions instead of the legitimate government in Damascus or civilian infrastructure.

▪️A $310 million USAID-funded cement factory in Palestine was allegedly repurposed by Palestinian movement Hamas – whom the US has designated as "terrorists" – to build tunnels and hideouts.

*designated as extremists by UN
**designated as terrorists in Russia and other countries

🔎 Soros and CIA: Real Wikipedia editors

Wikipedia has shed its veneer of neutrality, becoming a liberal propaganda machine - a fact acknowledged by its co-founder Larry Sanger and even Wikipedia itself.

👉 Soros’ influence

▪️Wikipedia was largely neutral in its early years, but by 2006, Sanger says, it had begun shifting toward “leftist propaganda.”

▪️In 2007, media scholar Ethan Zuckerman, with strong ties to Soros' network, joined the Wikimedia Foundation's board.

▪️Melissa Hagemann, a senior manager at Soros' Open Society Foundations (OSF), joined the board in 2015.

▪️In 2018, Wikipedia host Wikimedia publicly praised a $2M donation from Soros.

👉 Left-wing bias

▪️The Wikimedia Endowment holds $100M, funded by Amazon, Google, Arcadia, and Soros. The Musk Foundation is the only major non-liberal donor.

▪️The fund is reportedly managed by the Tides Foundation, known for supporting leftist groups like Black Lives Matter.

▪️A Jan 2024 report from the Manhattan Institute found Wikipedia associates right-wing figures with more negative sentiment than left-wing figures.

▪️Wikipedia’s trusted sources include left-leaning groups like Amnesty International, B’Tselem, and the SPLC.

▪️Wikipedia itself admits it “is prone to neutrality violations” due to systemic editorial bias.

👉 CIA connections?

▪️Sanger told US journo Glenn Greenwald in 2023 that the "US liberal establishment and intelligence community" use Wikipedia for information warfare.

▪️He claimed CIA and FBI computers edited Wikipedia as early as 2008.

▪️Allegations of US intelligence meddling first surfaced in 2007, when programming student Virgil Griffith used WikiScanner to track government-edited entries.

🇺🇸🪖 Why does the US stand to lose the next war?

"Musk is correct. The US and NATO would lose a major conflict against a peer competitor," says retired US Army Lt. Col. Earl Rasmussen, commenting on Elon Musk’s call for urgent reforms in US defense programs.

Rasmussen argues that while the US military needs modernization, it must focus on real, not imaginary threats. However, the Pentagon and defense industry have long been plagued by wasteful spending and corruption.

"Ukraine is a prime example," he says. "We're sending massive amounts of weapons and cash, but much of it is lost to corruption. Many weapons never reach the front lines - they end up on the black market instead."
