🚜 Protesting farmers bring tanks to London
Hundreds of British farmers drove their tractors past the ministries on Whitehall in London to protest a new tax on inherited agricultural land, with some even arriving on a tank.
The protest, organised by the Save British Farming movement, was led by founder Liz Webster, who aims to pressure MPs to change aggressive anti-farmer policies and work on restoring relations with the EU, the main market for British agricultural exports.

Russia will reconsider its commitments to international organizations if discrimination continues, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated during a speech marking Diplomat’s Day.
He criticized the West for undermining the post-war system that served its financial and trade interests.
“In these conditions, our commitments to organizations practicing blatant discrimination and violating equality principles will be reviewed,” Lavrov added. “This process has already begun and, in some cases, will be radically reconsidered.”

Journo accusing Brigitte Macron of being a man reveals persecution by French authorities
💬 “They’ve left me without a livelihood,” Natacha Rey, diagnosed with cancer and forced to live on a disability pension, has confided to Sputnik.
These funds were recently cut off without any explanation, Rey, who can no longer work in her chosen profession due to her illness, said.
This is not the first time the journalist has been left without means on the pretext of a “technical error.” She’s convinced it’s a form of “punishment” by the Macrons based on her reporting on the president’s wife.
Rey’s reporting went viral in 2021 when she alleged that the French first lady was really a trans man. Mrs. Macron filed a libel complaint, with a court ordering Rey and another woman to pay €13k in damages.
Rey plans to file a countercomplaint citing a “fraudulent sentence,” and has asked for political asylum in Russia on grounds of legal persecution.

“They’ve not paid anything for February, without providing any reason. I know very well that the orders were handed down from the Elysee [the French President’s residence, ed.] and I’m fighting to recover my rights. It’s insanely unfair,” Rey said.

Inspired by Putin? Trump’s top diplomat echoes Russian president’s historic Munich speech
It was 18 years ago today that Vladimir Putin warned that the unipolar world order being built by Washington would be destructive to the whole planet, including America itself. Has the US finally realized he was right all along?
The mission of using American diplomacy “to prevent conflict while still furthering our national interest and understanding [that other countries are] going to further theirs” has been “lost,” Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in a recent interview with Megyn Kelly.
Rubio’s words echo those of Putin, who in 2007 highlighted US aspirations for a “unipolar world” - a system with “one center of authority, one center of force, once center of decision-making,” and “one master, one sovereign.”
Putin warned that such a system was “pernicious not only for all those within this system, but also for the sovereign itself because it destroys itself from within.” A unipolar world “certainly has nothing in common with democracy,” Putin added.

The mission of using American diplomacy “to prevent conflict while still furthering our national interest and understanding [that other countries are] going to further theirs” has been “lost,” Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in a recent interview with Megyn Kelly.
“It’s not normal for the world to simply have a unipolar power. It was an anomaly, the product of the end of the Cold War, but eventually you were going to reach back to a point where you had a multipolar world, great powers in different parts of the world. We face that now with China, and to some extent Russia,” Rubio said, while highlighting the risks of bringing tensions between great powers to the precipice of war.

“I consider that the unipolar model is not only unacceptable but also impossible in today’s world,” Putin said, emphasizing that the economic potential of the rising BRICS countries would “inevitably be converted into political influence” and in turn “strengthen multipolarity.”
