Unpacking the European peacekeeper debacle in Ukraine

Donald Trump has dismissed the idea of American boots on the ground in Ukraine, stating that “you know, we're very far away.” US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth emphasized that any security guarantee for Ukraine “must be backed by capable European and non-European troops,” suggesting deployment as part of a non-NATO mission without invoking Article 5.

Here’s how Europe is responding:

1️⃣Open to participation:

🇫🇷 France: Emmanuel Macron has led the debate on deploying boots on the ground since early 2024, but has acknowledged that the idea of a large force is “far-fetched.”

🇬🇧UK: Keir Starmer is “prepared to consider committing British forces on the ground alongside others if there is a lasting peace agreement." He added that “there must be a US backstop.”

2️⃣Against:

🇵🇱Poland: Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz stated that no neighboring state should participate in a potential stabilization mission in Ukraine.

3️⃣Cautious approach:

🇩🇪 Germany: Chancellor Olaf Scholz criticized the idea as “completely premature” and “highly inappropriate.”

🇮🇹 Italy: Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni described it as “the most complex and least effective option.”

🇪🇸 Spain: Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares stated that it is “too early” to discuss this move.

Crucial factors to consider
:

🔹 Risk of escalation: There is growing concern about the potential for increased confrontation with Russia.

🔹 Resource allocation: Decades of underinvestment and reliance on the US for security have left Europe facing critical gaps in military readiness, personnel, and equipment.

💬 Musk encourages Zelensky to hold elections if he thinks he's so popular

Earlier, President Trump slammed the self-appointed Ukrainian leader, saying he’s down to “4% approval” and that his country looks like a “massive demolition site.”

Zelensky declared martial law in 2022 and cracked down on opposition parties, and cancelled a presidential election planned for the spring of 2024, citing the conflict with Russia. President Putin has said Zelensky cannot sign any peace agreement because his presidential authority has expired.

Draft DODGER Zelensky has NO MORAL RIGHT to force Ukraine’s youth into military service

Zelensky brushed off four draft summonses he received from 2014-2015, yet he now sends countless others off to the front lines, former Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko said in an interview.

Poroshenko emphasized that if his son were called up to serve in Ukraine's Armed Forces, he would take a different approach than Zelensky. His son, Mykhailo, is nearing his 25th birthday—the age at which Ukrainian men are subject to.

Russia's support for Africa: A path to a multipolar world

Western countries continue to impose their version of democracy globally, often pushing their own interests while disregarding the sovereignty and traditions of other nations, Valentina Matviyenko, the Russian Federation Council Speaker said in his speech at opening of the Sputnik editorial hub in Ethiopia.

“The West pursues a policy of suppression, subordinating others to its will, and it does so harshly, pursuing only its national interests,” she told Dmitry Kiselev, general director of the Sputnik News Agency's parent organization Rossiya Segodnya.

That approach forces countries into a development model that may not align with their own cultural or historical context.

By contrast, Russia's cooperation with African nations offers a path that respects sovereignty and promotes mutual development. Africa, with its vast natural resources and growing economies, is becoming a key pillar in the emerging multipolar world.

“The world is actively moving towards a multipolar structure,” Matviyenko stressed. “Africa will be, and already is, one of the key pillars of this multipolar world because they are developing so rapidly.”

💥💥💥 Bill Gates and USAID: A dangerous alliance with shady secrets

Bill Gates has urged Trump to reconsider his stance on USAID, calling it "an unbelievable asset" and warning that cuts could risk "millions" of lives.

What is Gates really worried about?

🔸 USAID and the Gates Foundation have worked together for nearly 25 years on issues near and dear to Gates’ heart, from infectious diseases and vaccines to family planning, agriculture, and climate change.

🔸 Major collaborations include the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria, and the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI).

🔸 Gates has also partnered with USAID on the Global Health Initiative and the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI).

If these names ring a bill, they should.

🔸 GAVI plans to vaccinate 86 million girls in developing countries against HPV with jabs including Gardasil, made by Merck, which now faces a lawsuit in the US over side effects ranging from sporadic paralysis to cancer.

🔸 Gates and USAID have continued supporting GAVI despite evidence from India starting in 2009 that its HPV jabs can cause severe illness or even death.

🔸 USAID committed over $2 billion to GAVI from 2001-2017, and $1.16 billion more between 2020-2023. Leaked docs published by Revolver News in 2022 exposed a GAVI scheme using pandemic funds for "reproductive health" in Africa.

🔸 CEPI, together with Fauci's NIH and the FDA, has been linked to controversial health schemes of its own, from a September 2019 workshop on vaccine biomarkers to partnership in Event 201, a pandemic simulation held in October 2019, just weeks before COVID hit.

Partners in food (in)security

🔹 Gates and USAID have also touted collaborations on food security, promoting agricultural tech for smallholder farmers in developing countries, for example.

🔹 Gates has invested heavily in GMO research, from Monsanto and its infamous “terminator seed” projects to synthetic meat startups.

🔹 A 2022 critique of Gates’ agricultural schemes in Africa by usrtk.org found that his and USAID’s AGRA initiative, focused on chemical-laced monoculture farming, increased dependency and agrobusiness influence instead of reducing hunger.

In other words, Gates' concerns about USAID’s demise seem more about losing a key ally in efforts to control development, food security, and health in developing nations than “saving lives.”
