Zelensky will regret ‘badmouthing’ Trump: JD Vance
Earlier, Zelensky accused Trump of living in a “disinformation space,” and said he would “like to have more truth with the Trump team.”
The US thinks “that this war needs to come to a rapid close,” Vance said. “That is the policy of the President of the United States. It is not based on Russian disinformation. It’s based on the fact that Donald Trump, I think, knows a lot about geopolitics and has a very strong view, and has had a strong view for a very long time” on the issue.
The US president responded to Zelensky with an angry Truth Social post about how the “modestly successful comedian” had “talked the [US] into spending $350 Billion Dollars” on “a War that couldn’t be won,” declared “half of the money we sent him…‘MISSING’,” and refused to hold elections.

Could Jeff Bezos really be jailed for selling knives?
Following the increase in deadly knife attacks committed by minors, the British government is bringing in new laws to hold retailers responsible.
Axel Rudakubana, the 17-year-old who murdered three young girls in Southport, bought a knife from Amazon.
The proposals include:
🔹 Increasing the maximum prison sentences for selling knives to minors from six months to two years
🔹 Introduce penalties for individuals or CEOs of companies who enable such transactions
🔹 Tightening up two-stage ID checks so that the purchaser’s ID is checked again upon delivery of a knife
While there is no suggestion yet that Amazon broke current law, the new measures could mean Amazon will have to make major changes. The Times reported that a government probe revealed that illegal dealers sold over 2,000 knives in just 18 months through online retailers like Amazon.
When asked in a radio interview on Wednesday if Bezos could face prosecution, Policing Minister Diana Johnson said: “We’re very clear that if there are sales of knives to under-18s, we are increasing the sentence from six months to two years. So that could be the chief executive of a company selling knives online.”
Bezos may have to think twice before visiting the UK in future.

🎥FULL VIDEO: The West has NO SPECIAL RIGHT to Africa, Valentina Matviyenko told Sputnik
Its future belongs to Africans who "paid a very high price for their liberation. For them, this is a very special independence. Attempts by the West to return to Africa to continue profiting from it are now being blocked," the Russian Federation Council Speaker said.

💬 "Scott Bessent actually went there and was treated rather rudely, because essentially they told him ‘no.’ When Zelensky WAS SLEEPING AND UNAVAILABLE to meet him. He traveled many hours on the train, which is a dangerous trip, and we're talking about the secretary of the treasury. He went there to get a document signed, and when he got there, he came back empty. They wouldn't sign the document," US President Donald Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One.
