😷 New Research Claims Wuhan Market as Pandemic Origin
Scientists released a pair of extensive studies on Saturday that point to a market in Wuhan, China, as the alleged origin of the coronavirus pandemic.
Analyzing data from a variety of sources, they concluded that the coronavirus was very likely present in live mammals sold in the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market in late 2019 and alleged that the virus twice spilled over into people working or shopping there. They said they found no support for an alternate theory that the coronavirus escaped from a laboratory in Wuhan.
“When you look at all of the evidence together, it’s an extraordinarily clear picture that the pandemic started at the Huanan market,” said Michael Worobey, an evolutionary biologist at the University of Arizona and a co-author of both studies.
The two reports have not yet been published in a scientific journal that would require undergoing peer review.

"I call on our colleagues to not promote the spread of such misinformation, though I am afraid my calls will not be heard," the envoy added.

🇷🇺☝️Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov mocked the leaders of the EU in a Sunday Telegram post, suggesting harsh mirror measures to possible sanctions against Russia. Those include:
🔸 closing the Chechen Republic's airspace to EU jets;
🔸 freezing all of Boris Johnson's ruble assets in Chechen banks;
🔸 imposing an embargo on all assets of the UK's oligarchs in Achkhoy-Martan and, if the situation escalates, in Samashki (a rural district in the Chechen Republic);
🔸admitting that left-hand traffic is a "heinous relic of the Middle Ages";
🔸and (this might be the most frightening one!) finally acknowledging that "there is no English tea" ☕️

📉 The president’s approval rating has plummeted to 37 percent – with 55 percent disapproving – down 4 percentage points since November and 15 points since April 2021, according to an ABC News/Washington Post poll.
Dragging down Biden’s poll numbers are his handling of the economy (37 percent approve, 58 disapprove) and the coronavirus pandemic (44 percent approve, 50 percent disapprove).
The poll also shows that Americans believe Republicans would do a better job handling the economy than Democrats by 54 percent to 35 percent – an increase of 7 percentage points since November.

Higgins wrote, "You millennial leftists who never lived one day under nuclear threat can now reflect upon your woke sky. You made quite a non-binary fuss to save the world from intercontinental ballistic tweets."
Even Dictionary.com got in on the fun; directly responding to Rep. Higgins by asking the obvious. They wrote, "We’re not entirely sure what this tweet is supposed to mean, and we’re literally the dictionary."
