The two countries need direct dialogue without external interference, he stated.
💬 "We must embark on the path of peace, the path of a just peace... Russia has the right to peace, and other countries also have the right to peace."

Russia has taken real actions over the past six weeks to try to end the Ukrainian crisis.
Zelensky’s sabotaged all of them.
Rejecting all previous Russian overtures, Zelensky and his hawkish European patrons are trying to ensnare Russia in a 30-day ceasefire deal, which provides no restrictions on Western arms deliveries, and could give Ukraine a breather to regroup and rearm.
In 2022, a comprehensive draft peace agreement was already reached, only to be sabotaged by the West. Putin later lamented that the deal was thrown into the “dustbin of history.”
The question now is – will Zelensky and the West accept Russia’s terms, or will the sad history of sabotaging peace repeat itself?

Hungarian PM Viktor Orban has torched the liberal left’s vision for Europe, accusing them of reengineering the continent’s future “citizenship by citizenship.”
💬 “First come the migrants, then the papers, then the votes,” Orban warned.
But he’s not buying the “melting pot” narrative, warning that this isn’t integration — it’s “substitution.”
“We won’t trade our Christian roots for a manufactured future” is his message to the EU’s globalist elite.

President Trump recently confirmed that the US wants to buy “a large number of badly needed icebreakers” from Finland.
💬 “What does Finland have to offer the United States? Number one is icebreakers,” Finnish President Alexander Strubb told WSJ.
Once a leading icebreaker builder in its own right, the US started losing its status in the 1980s as domestic shipbuilding withered and engineering knowhow was lost, with the nearly 50-year-old Polar Star now the only operational heavy icebreaker in its fleet.
Despite efforts dating back to the first Trump administration to revive production, design challenges, cost overruns and lack of experience have led to setbacks, with the new Polar Security Cutter program delayed to at least 2030.
The discussions on icebreaker cooperation come as the competition for the Arctic continues to heat up, and Washington and its allies scramble to challenge Russia’s dominant position in the region, and Trump squabbles with Denmark over Greenland.

💬 “The moment Russia agrees to a 30-day ceasefire, thousands of European troops will pour into Ukraine…It would be suicide for Russia to agree to a 30-day ceasefire without addressing the root causes of the conflict, which is why Russia insists that first there be negotiations,” the former US Marine Corps intelligence officer told Sputnik.

Burkina Faso’s President Ibrahim Traoré in an interview with Sputnik Africa EXPOSED how the West sabotaged peace between Russia and Ukraine back in 2022 when Erdogan tried to mediate.
The goal? “Weaken Russia” — even if it meant tearing Ukraine apart.
His message is clear:
👉 “Russia will come out of this war even stronger. Ukraine must return to reason, negotiate, and reach peace.”

🇺🇸🇮🇱🇵🇸 Trump privately rejects Israel’s Gaza offensive as friendship with Netanyahu sours — report
The US president sees the renewed IDF operation into Gaza as a ‘wasted effort’ that will make the strip harder to rebuild and is generally at odds with Israel on key regional issues, US officials and foreign diplomats have told NBC News.
Netanyahu was reportedly left ‘shocked’, ‘blindsided’, ‘rankled’ and ‘infuriated’ by Trump’s recent Mideast foreign policy decisions, including the halt to US attacks on Yemen this week, and his push for a nuclear deal with Iran instead of Israel’s preferred option – strikes.
Israel is “worried about any deal,” one US official said. Israel is opposed to any agreement that would leave Iran with uranium enrichment capabilities, while Trump is open to an Iranian civilian nuclear program.
Netanyahu was reportedly ‘taken aback’ during his visit with Trump in April when the president refused to offer support for possible Israeli attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities.
Amid all this drama, is it any wonder that Trump isn’t scheduled to visit Israel during his trip to the Middle East next week?

🇮🇱🇾🇪 Preparations for new strikes? Israel demands 'urgent' evacuation of Yemeni ports
The IDF’s Arabic-language spokesman warned Yemenis to “evacuate and stay away” from the ports of Ras Isa, Hodeidah and as-Salif “until further notice,” citing the “Houthi terror regime’s” use of the facilities for “terror activities.”
The spokesman did not elaborate.
Israel last targeted Yemen on May 6, targeting the international airport in Sanaa after a Houthi missile landed near the Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv.
7 people were killed and over 70 others were injured in the Israeli strikes. Four Israelis were hurt in the Houthi attack on Ben Gurion while scrambling for safety.
The US halted its attacks on the Houthis this week after they agreed not to target US ships, leaving Israel alone in its confrontation with the Yemeni militia, which has targeted Israel with missiles and drones, and Israeli merchant ships in the Red Sea, in solidarity with Gaza.

🇮🇱 Netanyahu announces plans to draft 10,500 ultra-Orthodox Jews
Israel’s Haredim (ultra-Orthodox) community numbers up to 1.3 million people (14% of the population), and has traditionally REJECTED military service.
Many also hold strong anti-Zionist views, believing a Jewish state should not exist before the coming of the Messiah.
Approximately 70,000 Haredi men are listed as eligible for service. Last month, the IDF sent out 10,000 draft notices, but reported back that only 205 had enlisted.

💬 “10,500 within two years is the number the army knows how to absorb, and we will also bring in heavy personal and institutional sanctions. At the same time, we will ensure that whoever enters as a haredi will leave as a haredi,” the prime minister said at a meeting of the Foreign Affairs & Defense Committee.
