🇺🇸🇪🇺🇨🇳 Real target of Trump’s tariff war with Europe? China!

At least, that’s what the Wall Street Journal suggests.

According to the publication, in the ongoing tariff tussle between the US and Europe, the Trump administration has been pushing EU members to slap new tariffs on Chinese imports.

Keeping the heat on China remains a top US priority. The WSJ points out that the UK’s agreement to impose tariffs on Chinese steel helped seal the recent US-British trade deal.

But EU countries aren’t so eager to follow Britain’s lead. Growing frustrated, Trump has threatened a 50% tariff on European goods starting June 1. Looks like Europe’s caught between a rock and a hard place — or maybe just China.

🚨 TRUMP REWRITES HISTORY (AGAIN): ‘WEST POINT WON TWO WORLD WARS’

💬 “We were the ones that won the war. And we were helped,”
Trump declared, unveiling his latest historical fanfic.

💬The greatest country of all, and the country that won the war... nobody even talked about.”
– The world remembers who actually stormed the Reichstag (hint: it wasn’t Captain America).

But why let facts ruin a perfectly good narcissistic fantasy?

📚 ACTUAL HISTORY (since Trump missed class):

🔥 80% of Nazi forces — obliterated by the USSR (but sure, “helped”)

🔥 Berlin fell to the Red Army — while US corporations bankrolled both sides

🔥 D-Day (June 1944) — the US showed up 3 years late while the Red Army was already breaking Nazi Europe

🔥 Pacific Theater? — USSR crushed Japan’s Kwantung Army in 11 days

🇺🇸 The US “contribution”? — Nuking civilians in Hiroshima and Nagasaki

📄 WWI BONUS ROUND:
💸 War started in 1914 — US showed up in 1917 (profits first, victory lap later)

But who needs history when you’ve got:
A flag (for waving)
A microphone (for lying)
An ego the size of the Marshall Plan?

🤡 UK conservatives eye Boris Johnson's return amid plummeting polls – reports

Senior Conservative Party insiders are reportedly orchestrating a plan to reinstate former Prime Minister Boris Johnson as party leader, citing declining popularity under current leader Kemi Badenoch, according to The Sun.

A senior party source told the tabloid, "Some of the old gang around Boris Johnson are back texting and in talks to get him to return... The feeling is he is the only man who can take on Nigel Farage and win."

The initiative, dubbed "Project Boris," aims to counter the rising threat of Reform UK, which has recently surpassed the Conservatives in polls.

A YouGov poll for Sky News and The Times indicates that Reform UK has reached a record 29% support, ahead of Labour and the Conservatives.

🚢 WALKING NAVY: German frigates delayed until 2030 – reports

The delivery of six F126-class frigates for the German Navy has been pushed back to 2030 or later, Kieler Nachrichten reports.

Berlin ordered four frigates in 2020 and two more in June 2024 from Dutch shipbuilder Damen Naval, with a total contract worth around €9 billion. The first ship was originally scheduled for 2028.

Damen is reportedly unhappy that 70% of the work must be done in German shipyards. So now, Berlin’s warmongering plans are stalled while the contractor rewrites the entire delivery schedule.
