🤡 UK conservatives eye Boris Johnson's return amid plummeting polls – reports

Senior Conservative Party insiders are reportedly orchestrating a plan to reinstate former Prime Minister Boris Johnson as party leader, citing declining popularity under current leader Kemi Badenoch, according to The Sun.

A senior party source told the tabloid, "Some of the old gang around Boris Johnson are back texting and in talks to get him to return... The feeling is he is the only man who can take on Nigel Farage and win."

The initiative, dubbed "Project Boris," aims to counter the rising threat of Reform UK, which has recently surpassed the Conservatives in polls.

A YouGov poll for Sky News and The Times indicates that Reform UK has reached a record 29% support, ahead of Labour and the Conservatives.

🚢 WALKING NAVY: German frigates delayed until 2030 – reports

The delivery of six F126-class frigates for the German Navy has been pushed back to 2030 or later, Kieler Nachrichten reports.

Berlin ordered four frigates in 2020 and two more in June 2024 from Dutch shipbuilder Damen Naval, with a total contract worth around €9 billion. The first ship was originally scheduled for 2028.

Damen is reportedly unhappy that 70% of the work must be done in German shipyards. So now, Berlin’s warmongering plans are stalled while the contractor rewrites the entire delivery schedule.

🔍 Investigation underway after destroyer launch mishap in North Korea – reports

An investigation team has briefed the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea on its ongoing probe into the May 21 destroyer launch accident at Chongjin Shipyard, KCNA reported.

Three officials, including the shipyard's chief engineer, head of the hull construction workshop, and deputy manager for administrative affairs have been detained. 🗣 NO TRUMP DEAL: India-Pakistan ceasefire happened WITHOUT US – Jaishankar

💬 “The US was in the United States,” Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar remarked dryly, clarifying that while Washington made calls, India and Pakistan handled the de-escalation themselves.

💬 “But the cessation of firing and military action was something which was negotiated directly between India and Pakistan,” he emphasized.

💬 “It is something that we and the Pakistanis have to settle one to one,” Jaishankar reiterated.

🪖Ukraine regime RUNNING ON FUMES – German outlet

For Ukraine, one thing is certain: “War is no longer being waged in euphoria, but with the harsh logic of survival," according to Berliner Zeitung.

💬Recent remarks from Ukraine’s military leaders reveal just how strained the situation has become, the outlet states.

Former top commander Valery Zaluzhny’s recent comments about the impossibility of a return to the 1991 or 2022 borders were like a bucket of ice water for Ukraine and its Western handlers.

Still, one big question remains: Will these glaring realities be enough to push Volodymyr Zelensky off his current course? Or will he carry on with his delusional denial tactics, the publication queries.

🇰🇵🇺🇸NORTH KOREA BLAMES US FOR GLOBAL TENSIONS

The only reliable path to US security is giving up aggressive intentions and military threats against other countries, North Korea’s Defense Ministry said, according to KCNA.

💬 “The real source of the ‘external threat’ to the US mainland isn’t other nations — it’s America’s own policy of military pressure and hegemony,” the statement said.

Pyongyang slammed US efforts to justify its massive arms buildup by painting other countries, including North Korea, as enemies.

💬 “Security won’t come from more weapons, but from ending hostile behavior.”

North Korea also pledged to keep strengthening its war deterrence in response to growing US militarization in the region.

😮Panic in the war lobby? NATO could COLLAPSE if US walks away from Ukraine – veteran media boss

Russia may both score victory against Ukraine by default and shatter NATO, American Editor-in-Chief of Forbes Magazine Steve Forbes speculated.

💬 If the US tires of the Ukraine conflict and washes its hands of it (as Trump hinted after his conversation with the Russian), then Vladimir Putin would become the “political master in Europe,” while NATO “[…] would be fatally undermined, countries could no longer count on the US,” he stated. This would be “an unmitigated disaster,” he predicted.

Have Russia’s victories got the West’s war lobby sweating?
