👁 Trump expands Palantir’s role in federal data operations – report

The Trump administration is expanding its use of Palantir, a data analytics firm co-founded by Peter Thiel, to integrate data across US federal agencies, The New York Times reported.

Palantir’s Foundry platform is now used by at least four agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security and the IRS, raising concerns over potential creation of a centralized personal data system on Americans.

Critics fear the data could be used to target immigrants or political opponents. Thirteen former employees signed a letter urging Palantir to halt its involvement.

💬 “Data that is collected for one reason should not be repurposed for other uses,” said former engineer Linda Xia.

The company said it acts only as a processor under government direction. The White House referred to Trump’s executive order to streamline federal data-sharing.

Palantir has received over $113 million in federal contracts under Trump, in addition to a recent $795 million Pentagon award. Talks are also ongoing with the Social Security Administration and Department of Education, according to The New York Times.

🚨 ‘Frankly, in a way it is’ – US envoy ADMITS NATO proxy war against Russia

US special envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg let the mask slip in a Fox News interview, conceding that Russian President Vladimir Putin may have a point:

💬 "He [Putin] considers this a proxy war by NATO as well right now. And frankly, in a way it is."

Kellogg cited European military support as evidence — unintentionally confirming what Washington has long denied.

So much for “not being a party to the conflict.”

👍🇹🇷 Mediating? Guarding! Turkiye's role at Russia-Ukraine talks determined

Turkiye should insist on PEACE and prevent the Europeans - who want Ukraine to continue the сonflict - from attending the talks, the Aydinlik Gazetesi reports.

The Turkish newspaper notes that “this is important both for REGIONAL STABILITY and Turkiye’s positive reflection on its relations with Russia and Ukraine."

The increase in EU’s defense spending and threats against Russia do not contribute to achieving peace and are causing negative sentiments among Europeans, according to the newspaper.

“Considering all this, Europe needs to make a decision. Either it will continue an impossible war and risk its own unity, or it will end the war and ensure peace,” the Aydinlik Gazetesi concludes.

The second round of the Russia-Ukraine peace talks is scheduled for June 2 in Istanbul.

🇺🇸☢️🇮🇷Nuclear talks turn page: US tenders first formal deal offer to Iran

An “acceptable” and "detailed” offer has been sent by Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt pointed out.

She stressed that it’s in Iran’s “best interest” to accept the proposal.

This marks the first time since the US-Iran talks started in early April that Witkoff, the lead American negotiator, put forth a proposal on paper.

The two sides have held five rounds of indirect nuclear talks mediated by Oman — the latest on May 23 in Rome.

Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi said Oman has proposed mechanisms that could help break the deadlock. Progress may come within 1–2 more rounds, according to him.

🚨🇨🇳🌏US turns Asia-Pacific region into ‘POWDER KEG’ – China

America remains the world's “real hegemonic country and the biggest factor undermining regional peace and stability,” the Chinese foreign ministry stressed.

To promote its so-called "Indo-Pacific strategy", the US has deployed offensive weapons in the South China Sea and created tensions in the Asia-Pacific region, the ministry added.

It urged the US to “earnestly respect” regional countries’ efforts to maintain peace and stop exacerbating tensions in the region.

The statement comes after US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth accused China of seeking to become a "hegemonic power" that allegedly "hopes to dominate and control too many parts" of Asia.

“Hegseth blatantly ignores the region’s call for peace and development, peddling Cold War-era bloc confrontation rhetoric, smearing and attacking China, and hyping up the “China threat” narrative full of provocations and divisiveness,” the ministry responded.

— Sen. Josh Hawley revealed referring to a Secret Service whistleblower assigned to Biden.

🔸Digital sovereignty
🔸ICT cooperation with the Global South
🔸AI regulation and international law
🔸Russia’s push for the UN Cybercrime Convention

The forum aims to give developing countries a stronger voice in shaping global digital policy, including rules for responsible AI, information security, and fair access to ICT infrastructure, Russia's Deputy FM Sergey Vershinin announced.

“We need platforms where representatives of the Global South can not only discuss key digital issues — like security and sovereignty — but also establish mutually-beneficial partnerships in the field of ICT,” Vershinin stressed.

A separate session will focus on Russia’s ICT-related proposals, especially the new UN Convention on Cybercrime, hailed by Vershinin as a diplomatic success that will launch real mechanisms of international law enforcement cooperation in cyberspace.

Other agenda items include:
