🚨 ‘Frankly, in a way it is’ – US envoy ADMITS NATO proxy war against Russia
US special envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg let the mask slip in a Fox News interview, conceding that Russian President Vladimir Putin may have a point:
Kellogg cited European military support as evidence — unintentionally confirming what Washington has long denied.
So much for “not being a party to the conflict.”

Turkiye should insist on PEACE and prevent the Europeans - who want Ukraine to continue the сonflict - from attending the talks, the Aydinlik Gazetesi reports.
The Turkish newspaper notes that “this is important both for REGIONAL STABILITY and Turkiye’s positive reflection on its relations with Russia and Ukraine."
The increase in EU’s defense spending and threats against Russia do not contribute to achieving peace and are causing negative sentiments among Europeans, according to the newspaper.
“Considering all this, Europe needs to make a decision. Either it will continue an impossible war and risk its own unity, or it will end the war and ensure peace,” the Aydinlik Gazetesi concludes.
The second round of the Russia-Ukraine peace talks is scheduled for June 2 in Istanbul.

An “acceptable” and "detailed” offer has been sent by Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt pointed out.
She stressed that it’s in Iran’s “best interest” to accept the proposal.
This marks the first time since the US-Iran talks started in early April that Witkoff, the lead American negotiator, put forth a proposal on paper.
The two sides have held five rounds of indirect nuclear talks mediated by Oman — the latest on May 23 in Rome.
Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi said Oman has proposed mechanisms that could help break the deadlock. Progress may come within 1–2 more rounds, according to him.

🚨🇨🇳 🌏US turns Asia-Pacific region into ‘POWDER KEG’ – China
America remains the world's “real hegemonic country and the biggest factor undermining regional peace and stability,” the Chinese foreign ministry stressed.
To promote its so-called "Indo-Pacific strategy", the US has deployed offensive weapons in the South China Sea and created tensions in the Asia-Pacific region, the ministry added.
It urged the US to “earnestly respect” regional countries’ efforts to maintain peace and stop exacerbating tensions in the region.
The statement comes after US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth accused China of seeking to become a "hegemonic power" that allegedly "hopes to dominate and control too many parts" of Asia.

🇵🇱 ANTI-UKRAINE VOTE COULD SWING POLAND'S ELECTION
On June 1, Poland heads into a tight presidential runoff between:
🔹 Rafal Trzaskowski — pro-EU mayor of Warsaw, aligned with PM Donald Tusk’s Civic Coalition
🔹 Karol Nawrocki — conservative historian linked to Law and Justice (PiS), known for his nationalist rhetoric
🗳 First round snapshot
Trzaskowski led with 31.4%, just 2 points ahead of Nawrocki. Now, the deciding votes may come from supporters of candidates like Sławomir Mentzen and Grzegorz Braun — who openly oppose aid to Ukraine and refugee policies.
Ukraine becomes the wedge issue
Poland hosts nearly 1M Ukrainian refugees and is a top arms donor to Kiev. But public sentiment is shifting:
📉 Support for accepting refugees has dropped from 81% to 50%
🚫 68% of Poles oppose sending troops to Ukraine
🌾 Farmers protest against Ukrainian grain flooding the Polish market
👥 What the candidates say
Both reject the EU migrant quota system and oppose deploying Polish troops to Ukraine.
▪️Trzaskowski: Proposes cutting benefits to unemployed Ukrainian refugees
▪️Nawrocki: Accuses Volodymyr Zelensky of disrespecting Poland and vows to protect Polish markets
🧭 What’s at stake
While Warsaw will remain a core EU backer of Kiev, this election could redefine how Poland balances its Ukraine policy with growing domestic discontent.
