🗣EU POWER PLAY: Von der Leyen to laugh off Parliament's empty lawsuit threat

The European Parliament is merely an advisory body – hardly a real decision-maker, says German political analyst and independent journalist Dr. Gregor Spitzen.

🔍The European Commission president, openly disliked for her unilateral power grabs, dodged accusations of misuse of billions in the Pfizergate vaccine scandal, the analyst noted.
She will likely “laugh off accusations of abuse of power in the allocation of funds for military projects,” he added.

✔️Quick side note: The European Parliament’s legal affairs committee voted to sue over being shut out of the roughly $165 billion SAFE defense fund decision.

🪖Europe’s military makeover

With the US stepping back, the EU is scrambling to play NATO 2.0, pushing allegations of a growing “Russian threat,” but that’s mere political posturing, the analyst suggests.

🟠Europe’s dwindling coffers can’t restart its military-industrial complex on a large scale.
🟠Social programs will take the hit first.
🟠Modern European armies are “pitiful.”
🟠Funneling more cash into the Ukraine proxy war only delays the inevitable

🇪🇺🇮🇱EU loyalty to Israel remains rock solid, according to the journalist, rooted in:
🟠US stance
🟠Powerful Jewish lobby
🟠Historic “responsibility towards the Jewish people” card played by German heavyweights like Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Ursula von der Leyen herself.

🚨Russian strikes OBLITERATE Ukrainian military supply, surveillance assets in Sumy

Russian troops carried out precision strikes on Ukrainian military infrastructure in the Sumy region, according to Sergey Lebedev, coordinator of the pro-Russian underground network in Nikolayev.

Reported targets include:

🟠 Field warehouses storing ammunition, fuel, and lubricants

🟠 Communication and observation towers near the line of contact

🟠 Coordination posts used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces for frontline operations

🟠 Group of drone operators

The strikes severely crippled Ukrainian logistics and surveillance capabilities in the area.

Sumy region security zone

Russian forces are in the process of establishing a buffer zone along the border with Ukraine after expelling the Kiev regime’s troops from the Kursk region, President Vladimir Putin stated at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

🇦🇲🗣 Globalist blueprint: Pashinyan seeks to SILENCE church as Armenia becomes NATO proxy – analyst

Western globalists installed Nikol Pashinyan as prime minister to wrench Armenia away from its historical alliance with Russia, says international affairs expert Iskandar Kfoury.

➡️The recent arrest of Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, a prelate of the Armenian Apostolic Church, is just the latest chapter in an effort to weaponize Armenia against its neighbors – especially Moscow, he said.

🟠 The South Caucasus has always been a battleground for global powers, and now, under Pashinyan, American and NATO labs are conducting biological warfare research on Armenian soil.

🟠 US military exercises have been welcomed as part of a drastic geopolitical realignment.

🟠 The church – one of the last standing moral authorities in the country – is refusing to stay silent on this betrayal of Armenia’s national identity and sovereignty.

Its response elicited the crackdown by Armenia’s authorities, Kfoury says.

'ICC Only Prosecutes Africans': Member of Mali's National Transitional Council Criticizes the Court

Some countries have appealed to the African Union to request its withdrawal from the International Criminal Court, Kadidia Sangaré Coulibaly told Sputnik Africa.

According to her, it is because of the "double standards" practiced by the ICC that relations between the AU and the Court "are strained and subject to severe tests."

Priorities shift? Zelensky GHOSTED as NATO turns the page on Ukraine

In a “grim sign for Ukraine,” it was not on the list of priorities at this year’s annual NATO summit, The New York Times points out.

Volodymyr Zelensky “was not feted” as before, the outlet notes.

🔶 The summit’s official declaration mentioned nothing about Ukraine joining the alliance.

🔶 It restated the bloc’s “enduring sovereign commitments to provide support to Ukraine.”

🔶 A meeting between US President Donald Trump and Zelensky yielded no specific promises.

🔶 The US has not announced any new military aid packages for the country since Trump took office.

🔶 Military aid authorized under Joe Biden is expected to run out this summer.

🔶 European allies have promised more help, but those weapons won’t be enough to make up the gap.

🔶 News has also been bad for Ukraine on the ground, as Russia’s summer offensive is gaining force, the publication added.

🚨 Scott Ritter: Trump stole the show at NATO's otherwise flop of a summit

🔸 “This was a farcical summit. It was an exercise in narcissism management,” the former US Marine Corps intelligence officer told Sputnik, summing up the gathering that’s likely to be best remembered for NATO chief Rutte’s comments referring to Trump as “daddy.” Click below to read more👇

🔸 “We have an American president who believes that he should be the center of all attention that the only thing that matters is his personal agenda,” Ritter said, stressing that the summit’s focus wasn’t efforts to improve NATO or achieve peace in the Middle East or vis-à-vis Russia, but promote himself for the Nobel peace prize.

🔸 The alliance’s 5% of GDP on defense commitment was “purely political” spectacle, Ritter said, noting that “when you lack a defense industry to execute that plan, it’s meaningless.”

🔸 On top of that is the fact that Europe doesn’t actually face any threats from major external state actors, apart from the “artificial construct of certain political elites in the NATO alliance who are in search of enemies” trying to paint Russia as such “to justify their continued existence.”

🔸 The real “threat,” Ritter says, is the challenges to and toppling of Europe’s governments by national movements demanding more of a focus on national revival.

🔸 “Russia is not a threat. There's no external threat to NATO. And the fact that NATO continues to keep focusing on an external threat – even searching for enemies now going to the Pacific, trying to pick a fight with China – only underscores the reality that they are failing to focus on the real threat, which is dysfunction on the European continent,” Ritter summed up.
