☦️ ⚔️ Holy relics DESECRATED amid Ukraine's WAR ON ORTHODOXY

🔊 Staff of the so-called “museum” at the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra have removed reliquaries with the relics of Orthodox saints and dumped them outside, the Union of Orthodox Journalists reports.

😶 It adds that some kind of “manipulations” are being performed with the holy relics.

🗣 The move has stirred a wave of condemnation in Russia, with claims that this "act of terrible anti-Orthodox vandalism only confirms the militant attitude of the Western world towards the destruction of Orthodoxy and, through it, the entire Russian world."

👉 Earlier in the year, Ukraine’s Ministry of Culture formed a commission to "inspect" the relics of saints in the caves of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra amid the crackdown on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC).

📅 In 2023, Ukraine struck a deal with UNESCO to remove Christian treasures from the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) claimed the relics were headed for museums in Italy, France, Germany, and the Vatican.

“The West has always plundered its colonies—Ukraine is no exception,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova warned at the time.

🚓 Nord Stream sabotage suspect revealed as ex-SBU officer – reports

The Wall Street Journal said the man arrested in Italy, Serhii K., is a retired captain of Ukraine’s security service (SBU) and former army officer.

According to Reuters, German prosecutors allege he led a team that planted explosives on the pipelines near Denmark’s Bornholm island after sailing out of Rostock on a rented yacht using forged documents.

The arrest warrant accuses him of collusion to cause an explosion, sabotage, and destruction of critical infrastructure.

🚜 'STRATEGIC MISTAKE' - EU farmers BLAST trade deal with US

The EU’s largest farm union, Copa and Cogeca, says the new EU–US trade agreement is harming European agriculture, according to their official statement.

💬 “This deal grants improved market access for US agri-food products, while EU producers are left facing higher tariffs, now rising to 15%, on key export products. This one-sided outcome is not only unjustified — it is deeply damaging to a sector already under pressure,” the group said, calling the deal a “strategic mistake.”

The union also criticized the failure to deliver on European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen’s earlier pledge of zero tariffs on some goods, noting farmers had expected at least a reduction in duties on wine and spirits — but it never came.

❌ US allegedly blocks allies from intel on Ukraine conflict talks with Russia – reports

CBS News claims US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has ordered that all intelligence related to the ongoing talks with Russia on Ukraine conflict resolution not be shared with US’s closest allies.

The directive, issued on July 20, classified all such material as NOFORN (“no foreign dissemination”), meaning it cannot be shared even with the “Five Eyes” alliance — the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

Officials told CBS News that only information already publicly released can be shared, while internal intelligence reports must remain within the originating agencies. The restriction does not apply to diplomatic or military operational data unrelated to the negotiations.

The White House has not commented on the directive, the outlet added.

🚨 Attempted rocket attack on UN mission HQ in Tripoli – reports

Libya’s Ministry of Interior said it had foiled an attempt to target the UN Mission headquarters in Tripoli with an SPG rocket, calling the incident a “dangerous precedent” against international missions.

According to the ministry, the rocket landed in a residential home in Janzour, west of the capital, without causing damage. A security sweep led to the discovery of a vehicle containing two additional rockets and the launch base used in the attack. Authorities said investigations are underway to identify and apprehend those involved.

The UN Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) confirmed that its headquarters in Janzour was not affected, and expressed appreciation for the Libyan authorities’ swift response.
