‼️ Chelsea win the Champions League!
🦠 Mike Pompeo claimed that the Wuhan Institute of Virology has a secret military programme, hidden from the World Health Organization mission that visited the city earlier this year to determine the origins of the pandemic.

"What I can say for sure is this: we know that they were engaged in efforts connected to the People's Liberation Army inside of that laboratory, so military activity being performed alongside what they claimed was just good old civilian research."

So, was the virus 'accidental' on purpose?
Now that's a twist!

Fiddleheads café in Mendocino, California is charging patrons a $5 fee if they wear a face mask or are"caught bragging" about their COVID vaccine.

🗣 The cafe's owner, Chris Castleman, explained the move as an attempt to help "charities that have been overwhelmed by the collateral damage of the government lockdowns," as the money is going to them.

Sounds like a fee most people will be happy to pay.
Double standards?

Pelosi's fines for violating security screening and mask mandates could soon face a legal test.

GOP lawmakers' decision to challenge Pelosi's rules came after Georgia Republican Andrew Clyde was fined while Democrat James Clyburn's similar case went unpunished.

🗣 “I welcome the Committee on Ethics to reconsider my case based on their most recently established precedents. Should they choose not to reconsider, I am eager to have my day in court to stop Democrats from further trampling on our cherished Constitutional rights,” Clyde told The Washington Times in a statement.

Joe Biden has criticised the Texas GOP’s priority voting bill, called Senate Bill 7, as a “part of an assault on democracy”.
“Today, Texas legislators put forth a bill that joins Georgia and Florida in advancing a state law that attacks the sacred right to vote. It’s part of an assault on democracy that we’ve seen far too often this year –and often disproportionately targeting Black and brown Americans. It’s wrong and un-American. In the 21st century, we should be making it easier, not harder, for every eligible voter to vote,” Biden said in a statement.

The Biden administration reportedly authorized U.S. embassies to fly LGBTQ and Black Lives Matter flags, as seen at the U.S. embassy in Athens, Greece.

The gesture has prompted backlash from many, including Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, who introduced a new bill to prevent political flags other than the American flag from being flown outside U.S. embassies around the world.

🗣 "It is inappropriate for President Biden and Secretary Blinken to authorize and encourage the display of inherently political flags that are in no way affiliated with the U.S. Government over American embassies overseas," Malliotakis said,

@real_DonaldJTrump has slammed the current US administration of Joe Biden for what he perceives as its failure to protect Israel, referring to the recent escalation in the Gaza Strip.

🗣"I think what's happened to Israel is one of the great injustices. If you look back 10 or 12 years ago, Israel was so protected by Congress. Congress loved Israel. Now, especially if you looked at the House, the House doesn't like Israel. The House is protective of anything other than Israel."

🇨🇭 The “Intercontinental” hotel in Geneva where it is rumored that US President Joe Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet on June 16 has all rooms booked for the first half of that month, although there is no clear indication that the top-level Russia-US summit will be organized there, a Sputnik correspondent reports.

It is the same hotel where former US President Ronald Reagan met with Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev in 1985. The hotel also hosted the first talks between former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in 2009. Talks on Iran and Syria, as well as US-Russia consultations on disarmament have also been held here.
