Bermamyt Plateau
This is a part of the Rocky Range of the Greater Caucasus. Its name translates as "crooked knee".
The relief of the place is really unusual: bizarre columns, asymmetric slopes and gorges look like a film set.
Sometimes on Bermamyt one can observe an unusual atmospheric phenomenon known as "Broken Ghosts": shadows of people on the plateau can be seen on the clouds, sometimes surrounded by an iridescent glow. This is due to the diffraction of light on moisture particles in the atmosphere.
