🔴Today we would like to introduce you to a classic of Soviet photojournalism, V. S. Tarasevich. Born in 1919, he began publishing in magazines in the late 30s, was a war correspondent during the Great Patriotic War, and also owns a series of photographs of besieged Leningrad. In the 50s, he began shooting color photos, shooting all over the country and in various genres, including street photography and even advertising. As an audience, he is loved by us for the feeling of tenderness for people that is in his photographs. Like most of the creative intelligentsia of his time, he was awarded not only creative but also military awards – medals "For Military Merit", "For the Defense of Leningrad".
