Train2Earn Open Beta is Live!

Synesians, we're excited to launch the open beta and continue testing our platform. Everyone can now head over to this updated guide to get started 🙌

✓ The aim of this open beta is to continue collecting valuable feedback and implement improvements. With regards to the reward structure, what is implemented in this version is oversimplified and is not representative of what it will be in later versions.

✓ We'll operate the open beta in sprints of 2 weeks or so, then take a few days break to complete validation, fix bugs, and implement improvements. Then start again.

✓ At this stage of development, bugs are still common and expected. As beta testers it'll be part of your mission to hunt and report these bugs!

💰 Single Sided SNS Staking Pool Update 💰

Synesians! Did you forget to unstake your SNS tokens from a monthly pool that expired already?

All unstaked SNS tokens from expired pools will be returned to their respective wallets this Friday. Some notes:

✅ Only the principal amount (the tokens you staked) will be returned to your wallets.

✅ The interest you earned during the staking period will go back to the rewards pool.

✅ The return process will be initiated by the dev team; you don't need to do anything

Kanon NFT 2nd Mint Update

Synesians! After listening and consulting with our community and partners, we've decided to postpone the 2nd mint of our Kanon Aquarius Collection. As much as we want to get these valuable NFTs into the hands of as many people possible, it would not be for the best interest of the project nor the community to mint at this time. Below are the main reasons:

✅ Current bearish crypto and NFT markets
:: We don't want to leave our NFT buyers in a bad situation of slumping prices and regretting buying our NFTs
:: We'll mint in a time that'll be beneficial for both the project and the community: sell out + correct market valuation

✅ We don't need the funds from the mint to continue development
:: Getting money from the mint isn't the end goal here and there's no rush for us to get more funds
:: We've raised enough from the pre-IDO round to continue developing until we finish our Train2Earn product and start getting more clients!

✅ We'll focus on building Train2Earn and Workspace, the gamified mobile app version
:: We're currently on our Open Beta and aim to launch on Mainnet in a few months, as well as launch the first version of the gamified mobile app this year.
::This way we'll build more utility for the Kanon NFT and attract more long-term minded DYF'ers who will hold on to our Kanons and experience the full potential of Synesis One

Product development will remain our top priority. We're getting a lot of interest from individuals and institutions in the space for the right reasons: a solid innovative idea with a real world use case + a team that can deliver. We'll double down on building and delivering the best product we can.

Regarding WL winners: don't worry, we'll honor your WL spots when we resume the mint 🙌

How do we compute the rewards?
1. Every Friday, we tally up how many utterances have been validated per wallet
2. 1 validated utterance = USD 0.10
3. We convert your USD rewards into SNS based on the price that day
4. We send the SNS tokens to you wallet address

Have we sent out the rewards?
:: 1st batch of rewards was sent on Sept 25
:: 2nd batch of rewards was sent yesterday, Oct 2

Notes:
:: For the first batch of rewards, there was a bug on our system which made it show more validated utterances per wallet than the actual number. This means that we overpaid most people, and in some cases it was almost double the amount that was supposed to be rewarded

:: This bug has been fixed! For the overpaid amount, we'll just hold on to the rewards until it's fully "paid" by the user

✅ Upcoming feature to improve submission time
:: David and the dev team working on a feature that will allow submissions without needing to sign transactions, resulting to a smoother and faster submission process
:: This could be rolled out as early as the next sprint, we'll keep you posted!

✅ Upcoming feature showing rejection reason codes
:: Suggested by the community, we're working on a feature to let validators indicate the reason for rejection
:: There'll be 4 to 5 main reasons for a submission to be rejected, and builders will be able to see which one applies to their rejected submission. Shout out to #megnuts for the the reason codes suggestion 🙌
:: This will help with transparency from the validators side and help builders to better understand and improve their submissions
:: We'll keep you posted when we can implement this!

:: The team is preparing guidelines and training materials for onboarding validators.
