በምዕራብ ኢራን አካባቢዎች በጣለው ከባድ ዝናብ የጎርፍ አደጋ ሲከሰት የሃገሪቱ የሜትሮዎሎጂ ተቋም ኢራን ካሏት 31 ግዛቶች በ18ቱ ዝናብ ይዘንባል ብሎ እንደሚጠብቅና በስድስቱ ግዛቶች ጎርፍ እንደሚኖር አስጠንቅቋል።

ባለፈው ሳምንት መጨረሻ ኢራን የክላውድ ሲዲንግን በመጠቀም ዝናብ ለማዝነብ የሞከረች ሲሆን የጎርፍ አደጋው ተከሰተ የተባለውም የክላውድ ሲዲንጉ በተሞከረባቸው አካባቢዎች ስለመሆኑ ተዘግቧል።

የኢራን የሜትሮዎሎጂ ተቋም መሪ የክላውድ ሲዲንግ ወጪው  ከፍተኛ መሆኑን አንስተው ከሱ የሚገኘው ዝናብም ኢራን ችግሯን ለመፍታት ከሚያስፈልጋት አንፃር ኢምንት መሆኑን ተናግረዋል።

በርካታ የማኅበራዊ ሚዲያ ተቋማት በሰዎች ላይ አሉታዊ ተፅዕኖ እንደሚያደርስ የሚያሳዩ መረጃዎች እያሏቸው በመደበቃቸው መከሰሳቸው ተሰምቷል።

ከዚህ ውስጥ ሜታ፥ ፌስቡክና ኢንስታግራም የሰዎችን የአዕምሮ ጤና እንደሚጎዱ የሚያሳየውን የራሱን ጥናት ደብቋል ተብሏል።

ሜታ፥ በ2020 ጥናት ካስጠና በኋላ ለሳምንት ፌስቡክ መጠቀም ያቆሙ ሰዎች የጭንቀት፣ የፍራቻ እና የብቸኝነት ስሜታቸው መቀነሱን ካሳወቁና የተቋሙ ምርቶች የሰዎችን፤ በተለይም የወጣቶችን የአዕምሮ ጤና እየጎዱ መሆኑ ከታወቀ በኋላ ጥናቱን መደበቁ ተሰምቷል።

ምንም እንኳን ሜታ በራሱ ያስጠናው ጥናት የማኅበራዊ ሚዲያዎቹ በሰዎች አዕምሮ ላይ አሉታዊ ተጽዕኖ እያሳደረ መሆኑን ቢያሳይም በኮንግረስ ቀርቦ ምርቶቹ ሴቶች ህፃናትን እንደሚጎዱ በመጠን የመግለፅ አቅም እንደሌለው ገልፆ ነበር።

የሜታ ቃለ-አቀባይ "ጥናቱ የተሰራበት መንገድ ትክክል ስላልሆነ ቆሟል" ያለ ሲሆን ህፃናትን ለመጠበቅ  ባለፉት 10 ዓመታት ከቤተሰቦችና ከተመራማሪዎች ጋር በመሆን ለውጥ ያመጣ ሥራ ተሰርቷል ሲሉ ምላሽ ሰጥተዋል።

ሜታ በተጨማሪ ከ13 ዓመት በታች የሆኑ ህፃናት መተግበሪያውን እንዲጠቁሙ በማበረታታት እና በትምህርት ቤት እንዲጠቀሙ በመገፋፋት እንደዚሁም  የህፃናት ወሲባዊ ይዘቶችን መፍትሄ ባለመስጠት ተከሷል።

ሜታ፥ ጥናቱን በመደበቁና በሌሎችም "ሞትሊይ ራይስ" በተሰኘ ተቋም ፍርድ ቤት ክስ የተመሰረተበት ሲሆን እንደ ጎግል፣ ስናፕቻት፣ ቲክቶክ ያሉትም ምርቶቻቸው የሚያደርሱትን አደጋ ሆን ብለው በመደበቅ ተከሰዋል።

የማኅበራዊ ሚዲያዎቹ የመተግበሪያቸውን ደህንነት ለመከላከል ህፃናት ላይ ለሚሰሩ ተቋማት ገንዘብ ይከፍላሉ ተብለውም ተከሰዋል።

ፍርድ ቤትም ክሱን ከመጪው የፈረንጆቹ ጥር 26 ጀምሮ ማድመጥ ይጀምራል ተብሏል።

🎬 "75 Years of Excellence in 75 Seconds"! 🎬  Short Film Competition!  

🎭 “Do you possess skills in short film production, such as directing, editing, writing,   storytelling, or acting?

🎭 “Enhance your portfolio with hands-on media production experience.”

🎭 We're looking for compelling 75-second films that capture AAU's journey and vision.

Requirements:  

🔷 Current AAU undergraduate and postgraduate students.

🔷Creative partners or collaborators (teams must include at least one current student). 

🔷 All content (footage, music, narration, etc.) must be original or legally licensed. Proof of copyright clearance may be required.

Through this short film competition, we hope to:

🔷Produce 75-second short films that creatively capture the history, legacy, and vision of AAU.

🔷Stimulate artistic expression of AAU's journey, values, and impact through the art of filmmaking.

🔷Inspire reflection on the past, present, and future of Addis Ababa University.

🔷Engage alumni, students, and the wider arts community in the anniversary celebration through filmmaking and storytelling.

🔷Publicize AAU’s legacy nationally and internationally through high-impact digital media.

Marburg virus causes a severe and often fatal illness called Marburg Virus Disease (MVD), similar to Ebola.

From fruit bats to humans through contact with infected animals or their fluids.
Human-to-human through blood, bodily fluids, or contact with infected bodies.
Contaminated surfaces like bedding, clothing, or medical tools.
#Symptoms
Sudden high fever, severe headache, muscle pains, and weakness.
Later: vomiting, diarrhea, rash, chest pain, and uncontrolled bleeding.
Death may occur within 8–9 days due to shock and organ failure.
Treatment & Prevention
No approved vaccine or cure yet.
Supportive care (IV fluids, oxygen, treating infections) improves survival.
#Prevention: avoid contact with infected people/animals, use PPE, and maintain strict hygiene.

ከ5000 በላይ የኢትዮጵያ ዜጎች በአዲሱ የአሜሪካ ውሳኔ ተጠቂ ይሆናሉ።

አሜሪካ ከሰሞኑ ለኢትዮጵያውያን ዜጎች ትሰጥ የነበረውን ጊዜያዊ የህግ ከለላ ማቋረጧ ይታወሳል።

በዚህ ከለላ ስርም 5001 ኢትዮጵያውያን የህግ ከለላ ተሰጥቷቸው እንደነበርና 263 የሚሆኑ ተጨማሪ ዜጎች አመልክተው በመጠባበቅ ላይ እንደነበሩ ተገልጿል።

ጊዜያዊ የህግ ከለላው መቼ ተሰጠ?

አሜሪካ በፈረንጆቹ ታህሳስ 12,2022 በኢትዮጵያ የነበረውን  ግጭት ተከትሎ ለኢትዮጵያ ዜጎች ጊዜያዊ የህግ ከለላ መስጠት የጀመረች ሲሆን በሚያዚያ 2024 ዳግም ተራዝሞ ነበር።

የጊዜያዊ የህግ ከለላው ለምን ተነሳ?

አሜሪካ ውሳኔው ከመተላለፉ በፊት ከሚመለከታቸው የራሷ የመንግስት ተቋማት ጋር ንግግር በማድረግ የኢትዮጵያ አሁናዊ ሁኔታ መገምገሙን አንስታለች።

በግምገማው የተዳሰሱ ነገሮች

- በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ እየተካሄደ ያለ ግጭት ስለመኖሩ
- ይህ ግጭት በመኖሩ ግለሰቦች ቢመለሱ የሚያጋጥማቸው የደህንነት ስጋት ስለመኖሩ
- የኢትዮጵያ ዜጎች ወደ ሃገራቸው እንዳይመለሱ የሚያደርግ ከአቅም በላይ የሆነና ጊዜያዊ ችግር ስለመኖሩ
- የኢትዮጵያ ዜጎች በጊዜያዊነት በአሜሪካ ቢቆዩ የአሜሪካን ብሔራዊ ጥቅም ስለመፃረሩ

ከግምገማው በኋላ በኢትዮጵያ ያለው ሁኔታ እየተካሄደ ያለ ግጭት የተመላሽ ኢትዮጵያውያንን ደህንነት ስጋት ውስጥ ይከታል የሚለውን መመዘኛ እንደማያሟላ ተቀምጧል።

አሜሪካ በ2022 በትግራይ እና ኦሮሚያ ክልሎች የነበሩ ግጭቶች ይህ የጊዜያዊ ከለላ እንዲሰጥ ምክንያት ነበሩ ስትል የትግራዩ ጦርነት በሰላም ስምምነት መቋጨቱንና በኦሮሚያም የኦሮሞ ነፃነት ሰራዊት አካል ጋር ክልሉ የሰላም ስምምነት መፈራረሙን፣ ታጣቂዎች መግባታቸውንና ከስምምነቱ በኋላ ግጭት መቀነሱንም አንስታለች።

አሜሪካ የትግራዩ ጦርነት ሲገባደድ በአማራ ክልል ግጭት መቀስቀሱን ጠቅሳ በመንግስት እና ፋኖ መካከል ያለው ግጭት መቀነሱን ንፁሃን ግን ጥቃት እየደረሰባቸው እንደሆነ ሪፖርቶች እንደሚያሳዩ አንስታለች።

አሜሪካ ኢትዮጵያ ትኩረቱን መሰረተ ልማት እና የሰብዓዊ ልማት ግንባታ ላይ ያደረገ የ33.7 ቢሊየን ዶላር ታሪካዊ በጀት ማፅደቋን አንስታ እነዚህ ማሻሻያዎች የተመላሽ ኢትዮጵያውያንን ደህንነት ስጋት ውስጥ የሚከት ነገር እንደሌለ ያሳያሉ ብላለች።

የውስጥ መፈናቀሎች ቀንሰዋል ያለችው አሜሪካ የምግብ እና ማህበራዊ አገልግሎቶች መሻሻላቸውን ለዚህም ማሳያው አሜሪካ ራሷ በሰሜን ኢትዮጵያ ትሰጥ የነበረውን የምግብ ድጋፍ ፕሮግራም ለጣምራ ኮሚቴ ማስተላለፏን አንስታለች።

ከ2022-2025 ድረስ 2147 የኢትዮጵያ ዜጎች ወደ ኢትዮጵያ ለመመለስ የጉዞ ሰነድ መጠየቃቸውንም በጥሩ ጎን ተመልክቼዋለሁ ብላለች።

ከቪዛ ጊዜ በላይ መቆየትን በተመለከተ አሜሪካ ምን አለች?

አሜሪካ በ2024 የኢትዮጵያ ዜጎች ከፍተኛ የሆነ ከቪዛ ጊዜ በላይ የመቆየት ምጣኔ ነበራቸው ብላለች። በዚህም:

- ለB-1/B-2 ቪዛ የ8.27 በመቶ ከቪዛ ጊዜ በላይ የመቆየት ይህም ከአማካዩ በ250% እንደሚበልጥ
- ለF,M እና J ቪዛ የ13.95% የመቆየት ምጣኔና ይህም ከአማካዩ በ330% እንደሚበልጥ እና የብሔራዊ ደህንነት ጉዳይ እንደሆነባትም ጨምራ ገልፃለች።

ምን ያህል ሰዎች ከለላው ነበራቸው?

የአሜሪካ የሃገር ውስጥ ደህንነት ቢሮ 5001 የኢትዮጵያ ዜጎች ይህ ከለላ ፀድቆላቸው ተጠቃሚ እንደነበሩ ሲገልፅ እንደ ባለፈው ህዳር መረጃ ተጨማሪ 263 ሰዎች ይህንን ከለላ ለማግኘት ጥያቄ አቅርበዋል።
