Southern Gaza witnessed a surge of resistance activity this week, as Al-Qassam Brigades and Saraya al-Quds launched deadly ambushes, demolitions, and drone interceptions across Rafah, Khan Yunis, and Gaza City.

Rafah City – Al-Qassam Brigades

Al-Janina (Al-Zahraa Mosque) — May 4–7

➡️Tunnel shaft explosion

➡️Pre-rigged house detonation

➡️Use of anti-personnel bombs and Al-Yassin 105 anti-tank missiles
Result: Israeli vehicles destroyed and multiple infantry casualties

Al-Mashrou’ Junction (East Rafah) — May 7

➡️10 soldiers and 2 dogs lured into an explosive trap
Result: Heavy casualties and helicopter evacuation observed
