Alexis "Alfonzo" Castillo was killed yesterday on the Peski Front. It's confirmed. His body has been recovered. He was buried by dirt from the impact of US/ukrop 155 artillery on the position, suffocated, but probably knocked unconscious and did not suffer at all. Vaya con Dios, Hermano. Voy a verte pronto. Hasta la victoria, siempre.

Alexis "Alfonzo" Castillo died October 27th on the Front line near Peski. Ukrop artillery hit his position. He was not wounded, but the explosion collapsed the position and he was buried and suffocated. He was probably knocked unconscious and did not suffer. His family in Spain and in Donbass have been notified and are making funeral arrangements.

Alexis was my first friend in the DPR Army and one of the oldest and best friends I ever had here. A real Communist, a true Internationalist, a Warrior and Defender, of Donbass, Russia, and everything good that is left in this world. There have been many International Volunteers who have served in the DPR Defense Forces, but very few who served like Alexis. For over 8 years, every day since 2014, Alexis served in the Army and Spetsnaz, defending Donbass AND Russia and the future of Humanity.Do not forget that he gave his life so that YOU might live. Do not forget the words of Jesus Christ - "There is no greater love than a man giving his life for his friends."
