Убитый город Угледар. 12 тысяч жителей, закладывался под шахты, но запасы угля оказались меньше ожидаемых и развитие населенного пункта остановилось. Город находится на острие атак с прошлого лета. Любопытно, что при подъезде к нашим тыловым позициям, есть место, где видна линия фронта и то что за ней - а там по ночам рождественскими елками светятся украинские села, показывая, что они мирные, а не военные объекты. Смотрится просто дико. Сейчас батальон "Восток" получил третий день передышки, вымотав противника в ноль. Ребята уже отоспались, постирались и сейчас восстанавливают фортификацию и минные заграждания. А мины, давно забытое пассивно-оборонительное средство ведения войны, на этом этапе СВО получили значение и эффективность сравнимую с артиллерией.

От ударов ракеты и пожара целиком выгорела деревянная рама на иконе святого Федора Ушакова (она на фото слева ещё в раме).
При этом сама икона, написанная на дереве не тронута огнем и вовсе не пострадала - только чуть пошкрябана осколками. Посмотрите, икона после пожара - на фото справа.
Какое мощное утешение от святого покровителя нашего флота, который на этой иконе стоит со своей известной фразой: «Не отчаивайтесь! Сии грозные бури обратятся к Славе России».

Но опыт Мариуполя показал, что дурман быстро развеивается, если перестать окуривать им население. Самые "свидомые" ушли, кто не ушёл - тех выявляем и изолируем, а в своей основе нормальные приходят в нормальное состояние. Да, пережить произошедшее трудно - мы пришли с огнём и мечом. Но постепенно зёрна отделяются от плевел, конструкция причинно-следственных связей становится стройной, и раны начинают затягиваться.
А можем ли мы ничего не трогать и оставить людей жить в своём мире, изолировавшись от него всеми доступными способами? К сожалению, не можем. И здесь историческая справедливость уступает место вопросам безопасности. Нет у нас таких мер и средств, чтобы изолироваться от угрозы. Единственный способ - это изолировать саму угрозу, постепенно уменьшая площадь ее очага. И здесь человеческие судьбы становятся заложниками обстоятельств, как бы мы ни подогревали свой природный гуманизм. Возьмем ту же Армению: она возмущается, она пузырится русофобией, она заигрывает с НАТО.... Но кроме раздражения это ничего не вызывает - не восприримается Армения в качестве той силы, которая с оружием в руках может начать вредить России. Про армянские танки на Красной площади я ничего не слышал, в отличие от украинских. Украина же сама определила себе статус: быть естественным врагом России навечно и ждать её ослабления, чтобы добить, - и это не только, чтобы высосать из Запада побольше денег, но и по причине собственной развившейся мании. "Russia, the heart of the Soviet Union, saved Humanity from Nazism 80 years ago, and today, it is Russia's historical destiny to do it again. To be "Russian" regardless of where on Earth you were born, means to be willing to defend the future of Humanity, even at the price of your own life. Who defends Russia, defends the future of all Humanity. That is what it means to be Russian today.
Who defends Donbass, defends Russia. I have earned my right to be Russian, with weapons in my hands, by my words and by my blood.

Yesterday in Petrovsky - Ukrop kamikazi drone attacks one of our tanks driving back from front line positions, in the civilian part of Petrovsky District. Yes, legitimate target, but at least they missed. Still, the explosion damaged a popular store on the main road that we have shpped at many times.
