🎶 Sound Quality
While they have more sub-bass, my wife and I preferred the "more natural" sound of the AirPods Pro 2 in blind tests. I found the new sound a bit "stretched artificially."
🎧 Fit & Comfort
The new design protrudes more, which I found less comfortable for long-term wear. However, new foam-infused tips and an extra-small size should help more people get a perfect fit.
🔊 Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)
The ANC is "crazy powerful," a huge and noticeable improvement over the already great Pro 2. This is thanks to new foam seals and better processing.
🎤 Microphones & Transparency
The mics are excellent, great for calls and even content creation. Transparency mode is so natural, it's like I'm not wearing any earbuds at all.
✨ New Features
* Live Translation: The on-device beta works well for one-on-one chats, with a slight delay.
* Heart Rate Sensor: Accurately reads my heart rate from my ear, but needs a phone or watch nearby.

I got almost 9 hours with ANC on, which is even better than the advertised 8 hours. The case provides a total of 24 hours.
Final Verdict: Should You Upgrade?
At $250, my advice is this: if you're happy with your Pro 2 for music, you can probably skip this one. But if you want the absolute best microphone system and the latest features, the AirPods Pro 3 are a worthy purchase. In my opinion, there's truly "nothing else on the market" that competes.
