Tesla's killer cyborg has learned kung fu

Elon Musk showed on X how the Optimus robot is learning martial arts skills. Moreover, as Musk himself stated, this time the robot is not assisted by an operator, as was the case with folding shirts. The robot independently navigates and repeats the movements of the invited kung fu master using AI.

Mass production of Optimus for the consumer market is promised to start in 2026. Tesla has mentioned a price of around 20–30 thousand dollars.
