Vivo has launched Y18 and Y18e, the company’s latest budget smartphones in the ‘Y Series’ in India, as the successors of the Vivo Y17 series launched in 2019.

• 90Hz refresh rate
• 840nits peak brightness
• MediaTek Helio G85 12nm SoC in 2024
(launched back in 2020)
• MicroSD Card Slot
• IP54 Dust & splash resistant
• 5000mAh battery with support for 15W charging
• Runs on Android 14 based Funtouch OS 14

• 50MP main + "0.08MP" ultra-useless dual rear camera
• 8MP Front camera
• Side-mounted fingerprint scanner

Google Pixel 8a marketing promo materials have been leaked, revealing some new details about the Pixel 8a features
It will sport a 6.1-inch OLED Display with 120Hz refresh rate & will be powered by Google Tensor G3
Pixel 8a will get 7yrs of Feature Drops and Security Patches, thus 7 Android OS upgrades upto May 2031
Like the Pixel 8 Pro, the Pixel 8a will have a Matte Finish on the back with Gorilla Glass 3 Protection on the front
It will be IP67-certified for dust & water protection
Interestingly, the Pixel 8a price will NOT be increased and will remain the same as the Pixel 7a launch price i.e 500$ or ~Rs.45,000 in India
