Now picture designing a website or app using those same flexible blocks to arrange content in eye-catching ways. That's the bento grid! It's like a grid system that broke free from rigid rows and columns, embracing blocks of different sizes and proportions.

While the name nods to Japanese bento boxes, the concept's roots lie in design exploration and the quest for more dynamic, adaptable layouts beyond traditional grids. It's gained popularity in recent years as a way to create visually engaging and user-friendly experiences.
