RIVE IS AWESOME! I finished the tutorial with the rigging stuff. The app is super intuitive especially for someone that has used After Effects for almost a decade lol. This opens up a whole new chapter of character animation for me!

Here's my progress so far... I was able to build a nice rig on The Sticker Guy's mascot, moving his face almost as if it's 3D and his eyes are on a separate rig. You can see how I've made the joysticks control everything. This would have taken me so long on After Effects!
While the earth quake at night was happening, my uncle keeps telling me “enewta” and I was literally telling him “relax its just an earthquake”

const rows = document.querySelector("tbody").children;
const skip = [0, 1, 2, 10, 26, 32, 37];
for (i = 0; i < 39; i++) {
if (skip.includes(i)) {
continue;
}
let col = Math.floor(Math.random() * 5) + 2; //for random evaluation
// let col = {2, 3, 4, 5, 6} for {VL, L, A, H, VH} respectively
let vals = rows[i].children;
let inputElement = vals[col].querySelector("input");
inputElement.click();
}

So I wrote some javanoscript to autofill the staff evaluation.
It choses random value for every competency but
you can change the col value from 2 - 6 (Very Low - Very High)
to give the same value for all.

copy/paste the code and run it in the console.

The Bill Splitter App

Ever been at a place with friends, ordered food and drinks (and maybe other things?😗) and you had to Split the bill?

Even worse…
Some in the gang know the price of stuff that they consumed, while some others are only looking at the vat exclusive price that came up on the bill (ugh!)
And on top of all of that, there is service charge which varies from place to place

Bill Splitter to the rescue to solve all of that!

Things it can do:

- Adding and removing friends
- Adding and removing items
- VAT calculation (15% when enabled)
- Service charge calculation (user-defined percentage)
- Per-friend totals
- Overall bill summary

90% of product pages struggle to convert. With conversion rates below 2%.

Mainly because of:

- Poor copy
- Poor design
- Difficult to use

Positioning as a premium brand?
Then optimizing for these is even more critical.

In this post, using Hawaii Coffee's example, I'll be sharing how you can increase your sales by improving copy, design and usability.

Below are the 8 changes I recommend -

1. Adding a short denoscription below product name. This should show the brand's personality and tell something valuable about your product.

2. Using an image that catches attention. This is key. Use an image that leaves a memorable impression.

3. Highlighting key features before add to cart CTA. These should be in bullets and each within 3 words.

4. Making sure the variants are super clear. Consider using images if selling different flavors, colors.

5. Highlighting why someone should subscribe and not just purchase one time. This brings you recurring revenue monthly.

6. Adding short copy that builds trust in the brand and product. Don't hide this under an accordion.

7. Adding FAQs. Check with your sales/customer support team for common questions. Also these are great for SEO.

8. Adding USPs with icons. These are reasons why you should trust the brand and why the product is great.

Other design changes I made:

- Increased font size in places
- Removed the image thumbnails
- Moved price close to the product name
- Added the weight next to price to show value
- Added service USPs below add-to-cart CTA

A lot of designers get stuck thinking their value is tied to the hours they put in or the tools they use. But clients don’t pay for pretty designs—they pay for solutions that help their business grow.

Shifting to a business mindset means understanding the bigger picture—how design impacts branding, marketing, and sales. Once you start focusing on results and positioning yourself as a problem solver, it’s easier to charge what your work is truly worth.

It’s not about working harder or taking on more clients—it’s about working smarter and delivering real value. That’s the shift every designer needs to make.
