What is not discussed nearly enough is that 8gb RAM versions of recent Macs like M3 (of course excluding M4 since that comes with 16gb RAM on base model) is actually WORSE than 16 gb versions of preceding versions due to the multitasking nature of design tasks. Which you can buy for cheaper since silicon upgrades are more expensive than memory upgrades.
