So ive been doing some research on how to be successful on freelance platforms, particularly upwork
Given the insane competition on there these days.

The stuff I am about to share applies even better for people who don’t have interest in cold dming clients on linkedin (myself included)

these articles and stuff cover all major work streams, from copywriting to VA to development to design. They are not exclusive to my designer friends

- crafting a compelling portfolio that communicates value proposition

- building a dynamic pricing and rate strategy

- advanced mechanics and strategic considerations

- we will conclude with one last article on synthesizing our newly established framework for sustainable success

Alot of this, I am consuming and reading with the help of
1. Deep Research on Gemini 2.5 pro
2. Videos on youtube
3. Content I was able to source from self proclaimed gurus on twitter, reddit and linkedin

The point of this research is to really share the bulk of that info here through a multi-part series of articles, test it for a couple months, then keep what works, and trim off what doesn’t.

We will not dismiss any potential metrics without testing thoroughly (eg. Nobody really uses video analysis intros but we will eventually test it for the sake of objectivity)
