So for anyone who doesn't really know perplexity, I use it A LOT.
its basically the best parts of google and chat gpt combined.

Gives you cited real time answers that chat gpt web version doesn't give without prompting, even when it does, it's finicky. You understand how important that is if youre in academia

It pulls info from the internet so no "we are still in november 2024" gaslighting by your AI

The answers appear faster and more concise than gpt, meaning its a google equivalent for AI (plenty out there but perplexity is what started it)

They just released their new insane agentic browser for free with higher limits on the pro subnoscription of perplexity (im talking about comet browser) which I started regularly using to automate tasks as well.
