When Tyler quotes Klopp as saying that everyone accepts the restriction on freedom that you can’t drink and drive and, Neville staunchly reiterates his position on unvaccinated players not being paid: ‘That is not right, that’s absolutely not right; the idea that next November, December we’re going to have a World Cup where if players aren’t vaccinated, they can’t go to the tournament. I am against that, I am against that 100 per cent . . . what I am a little bit surprised at the moment is, look, all over the country in every club there is probably about a 50 per cent or less take-up from professional footballers . . . Generally most clubs are struggling to get all their players vaccinated in this country . . . maybe it’s time for the players or the PFA to come out and explain what the concerns are that the players have and why they are not taking these vaccinations.’
He mentions incidents across the globe where healthy athletes have had the vaccine followed by medical incidents. He says players don’t want to take a vaccine that hasn’t gone through the most rigorous testing: ‘They think it is a bigger risk having the vaccine than not.’
He reveals that deputy chief medical officer Jonathan Van-Tam has met players, presumably to try to convince them otherwise.

UK’s former health secretary Matt Hancock lost his job with the United Nations days after getting it.
It comes as Hancock was set to be a UN special representative on financial innovation and climate change for the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa.
But a UN spokesperson now told Pass Blue that Hancock’s appointment has not been “taken forward”, prompting campaigning group Global Justice Now to say that “the last thing the African continent needs is a failed British politician”. Read more

The bill seeks to require the government sets up an independent review into “disablement caused by Covid-19 vaccinations” and whether or not people who have suffered serious side effects from the vaccine are able to access adequate compensation.
If you have been injured or a family member has died after the vaccine, email sir Christopher Chope and tell him directly, so he has the facts and more statistical weight to support this bill.

It is, however, a perfect metaphor for our current food supply chain.
- Crops have been failing.
- Grain reserves are hollowed out.
- Supply chain in a state of cascading failures.
The shelves where you are may still look full (or may not!). But the reality is we are dangerously close to empty shelves.
All to convince the public that a climate crisis demands totalitarian response…
